Improvements to Scopus Citation Metric loading
In order to add Scopus Citation Metrics to Esploro assets, we currently have to create a list of DOIs, run the list through a script created by Mark Paris of Brandeis University, that script runs each doi through Scopus' API then outputs excel file(s) with the citation counts, we then upload the file(s) into Esploro following the method described in the Knowledge Base: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Esploro/Product_Documentation/Esploro_Online_Help_(English)/Working_with_the_Esploro_Research_Hub/010_Working_with_Research_Assets#Loading_Citation_Metrics

Unfortunately, Esploro has a hard limit of 999 citations per excel file. At present, we have 90,000 assets that we need citation metrics for. We ask that ExLibris works on increasing that hard limit so that it does not require us to upload 900 excel files.
If that is not possible, is it possible to integrate with the Scopus API so that this can be done more easily or automatically.
And if that is not possible, we ask for another solution that will allow us to add Scopus Citation Metrics as easily and quickly as possible.
In the January 2026 release there is a new API endpoint for loading Metrics. Will be able to match on MMS_ID, DOI, Web of Science ID, and Scopus ID.
