  1. InfoReady Integration: Pulling Internal Deadlines Back Into Pivot

    It would be amazing (and hopefully this is eventually the plan) if the Pivot/InfoReady integration had the functionality that, once you "push to" IRR and create the competition, that when you "launch" the competition it also exports data like competition URL and internal deadline back into Pivot to add to the Deadlines section of the opportunity. Right now I'm doing this manually, and having it done automatically would save me lots of time.

  2. Search criteria should specify the LOI date. If LOI date has past, the proposal dates don't matter!

    If we are able to specify a date range that is specific to the LOI, then we can generate RFAs that the PI is eligible to apply for in that date range. As it is now, when we specify a date range, the results indicate proposal dates that fall w/in that range which are irrelevant if you missed the LOI date.

  3. Add the capability to save searches from paper invited

    Add the option to save papers invited search results in similarity to pivot funding search save.

  4. Publications full text linking

    Full text linking in Publications (in one's profile) currently only works if there's an abstract.

    And, one then has to click on a magnifying glass, scroll to the bottom of the abstract, and then click on a link to full text.

    Could we make this an easier process, with fewer clicks, such that full text linking is directly under the title information itself, and does not rely on an abstract? Thanks for considering!

  6. Admin account matrix

    I would like an overall Admin account matrix where all of the admins could be listed down one column and then all of the access categories could be boxes that can be check/unchecked on one screen instead of having to pull up each admin account individually to change or update access.

  7. Incorporate machine learning into Advisor Alert algorithm

    It would be wonderful to build a feedback mechanism for the Advisor Alerts system and incorporate machine learning based on that input. For instance, a scholar could get an Advisor Alert email, mark or dismiss opportunities as they see fit and have that data utilized by the system to create better results for the individual researcher.

  8. When using SSO, the ability for clients to specify a custom page that users will be redirected to when logging out.

    For those who want users to land on a page that will log them out of their SSO system, and not just Pivot, upon logout.

  9. "Push" InfoReady Competitions to Pivot

    It would be super neat if admins could "push" competitions (especially internal funding competitions") into Pivot, so that we don't have to manually enter internal funding opportunities if we have InfoReady, we'd just need to push certain information into the partner system. I would enter a lot more internal funding opportunities into the Pivot database if there were an easier way for me to take competitions that are listed/posted in InfoReady and "push" certain data from those competitions into Pivot, so that they show up in our users' searches.

    For Publications, you currently take information from ONLY ORCID, however Computer Science faculty, they use https://dblp.uni-trier.de/, it would be great if you can add this as default.

  11. Bi-weekly (twice monthly) newsletter option

    Currently there is only a weekly or monthly option for a newsletter. Weekly may bee too frequent for some faculty while monthly could cause an opportunity to slip through the cracks.

  12. Auto hyperlinks to URL for More Information within Excel Sheets

    I've recently been exporting selections from my curated lists to Excel sheets. However, the "URL for More Information" field does not immediately work for me or for other administrators who have "tested" it. We have to juggle between clicking on the opportunity Sponsor column and the More Information column to finally get it to somehow hypelink. It's frustrating and time consuming to say the least. Can this be scheduled as an enhancement for users?

    PIVOT users can "Opt In" to be identified (in their profile) as a potential collaborator to be contacted for specific solicitations or as part of a broader research topic.

  14. Role vs Title in Profiles

    Add an optional text field for Title in addition to the required Role field. Currently in Gallery, I designate which profiles to include by Role. Many faculty have Titles they use in the Role field. Example, Dr. Smith could be a Professor (Role) and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research (Title). I want both to appear in their profile to help ensure I am capturing all faculty by role.

  15. notification when the opportunity has been viewed before

    Either a tag/notification next to the program title or a filter on the left-hand side so I can choose to “view all” or only “view unread” and filter out opportunities that have been read before.

  16. Default Search List to 200

    Default search or tracked opps results-list to 200 opportunities, rather than 25, so that one can easily scroll through the full list quickly, rather than taking the extra step to choose the larger list. What's the purpose of having a "short" page, rather than simply showing the max?

  17. Make Single Sign-On (SSO) Login More Prominent on Login Page

    I have to do a lot of outreach on campus to remind faculty to set up their account using the Single Sign-On (SSO) option, due to the fact that the login page makes it appear that you should "Sign-In Using Your Pivot Account". If the login page listed SSO as the first and most prominent option, ahead of "Sign-In Using Your Pivot Account," then I feel we could avoid much of this confusion and I wouldn't have as many faculty setting up an unnecessary second account. And users who don't find their institution from the drop-down menu could move on…

  18. Residencies

    It would be helpful to be able to exclude or include in the advanced search whether a fellowship opportunity is a residency or does not need to take place in a specific location. If not there, then in the drill down menu along with the search results.
