    Allow users to choose whether they are searching for exact match or contains. So I could say that I want to search for people with the name Boe and it either return only exact matches or any name that contains boe.

  2. Allow users to sub-filter curated lists and searches

    Sharing curated lists and searches is helpful, but sometimes they are still too big or broad to be useful for everyone. It would be great if users could further filter them. Right now that does not appear to be possible.

  3. 1 button access to a proxied, persistent URL for Pivot searches that all users (not just admin) can create and share

    Easily obtain (through 1 click or 1 button) a proxied, persistent/stable URL for a Pivot search that can be shared with others at our institution who sign in via IP authentication. We are looking for an option to share Pivot searches that does NOT require Admin privileges, does NOT require specifying the email addresses of the folks with whom the search will be shared with, and also does NOT require users to create a separate Pivot account to create/share their searches (although they will need to sign in through our university).   4. tracked opportunity deadline reminder

    For tracked and set to active alerts, I would like to be able to set the deadline reminder to 4 months before the deadline. Currently you can only set the deadline reminder up to 3 months before the deadline. Limited competitions that require the institution to hold an internal selection process require more than 3 months to conduct the internal selection process and then submit a well thought through complete proposal,

  5. Additional Sorting Criteria for Awards

    Would it be possible to add additional sorting criteria (or filters) to search results for awards? Relevance and Institution are currently available as sorting criteria. I would love to see other ones like date, dollar amount, or PI. Even though search results are not necessarily complete (that's just the nature of the beast), I can see there being lots of uses for searching awards that use the proposed criteria, for example to see what funding a particular researcher has secured over time.

  6. OPT-IN Groups: User/Admin notification

    I have created a number of public opt-in groups. As the Admin, I would like to have an automatic notice when a User signs up for the group. I would also like the User to receive an automated email explaining what to expect and where to view the listings. Is that possible?

  7. Search criteria should specify the LOI date. If LOI date has past, the proposal dates don't matter!

    If we are able to specify a date range that is specific to the LOI, then we can generate RFAs that the PI is eligible to apply for in that date range. As it is now, when we specify a date range, the results indicate proposal dates that fall w/in that range which are irrelevant if you missed the LOI date.

  8. Curated Search: edit after published

    Once a curated search has been published, Pivot does not allow it to be edited (title or search criteria). It can be unpublished and deleted, but that will affect the html link that appears on our website, or the bookmarks of users. I would like to make changes without disturbing the web-link for these searches.

  10. Keywords should be linked in a way to search across profiles and promote connecting users.

    Within the profile detail, any keyword should be a link to the search results for that very keyword. Even better, it could be a link to a listing of users who have also included that same keyword.

    I understand that you can do this manually with the advanced search, but why not automate it and help make connections easier.

    PIVOT users can "Opt In" to be identified (in their profile) as a potential collaborator to be contacted for specific solicitations or as part of a broader research topic.

  12. Auto hyperlinks to URL for More Information within Excel Sheets

    I've recently been exporting selections from my curated lists to Excel sheets. However, the "URL for More Information" field does not immediately work for me or for other administrators who have "tested" it. We have to juggle between clicking on the opportunity Sponsor column and the More Information column to finally get it to somehow hypelink. It's frustrating and time consuming to say the least. Can this be scheduled as an enhancement for users?

  13. Split Citizenship/Residency into two separate Criteria

    For the sake of our many international faculty and students, Citizenship and Residency should be two separate criteria so that Non-Us Citizens do not have to weed through those opps that are tagged as US even though they allow nonUS citizens to apply.

  14. Make Explode Function default to Unchecked

    Users at our institution are selecting specific narrow and broad keywords - not whole hierarchies of keywords. It would be nice if the explode box function did not automatically default to being checked as soon as a keyword is selected. It would also be helpful if there were some kind of description warning users what that Explode function does.

  15. Funding opp matches to profiles at institution

    When viewing a specific opp, and you select the option at the right side where it matches to "# from inside your institution," allow us the "Refine Search" option on the results page, the same way we do on a profile or funding search.

  16. Remove limitations on number of records that can be downloaded per day

    After laboriously selecting a large number of records one page at a time, I got an error message that I could not download more than 600 records in a day. Pivot Support responded: ". As noted you can't export more than 600 records per day. The limit is there because this system is designed for funding management not harvesting."
    My system is to download all opportunities from a search result into an Excel spreadsheet because it is much easier to sort through them. Also, I can append the results from a future repeated search, sort by opportunity number, match the…

    For Publications, you currently take information from ONLY ORCID, however Computer Science faculty, they use https://dblp.uni-trier.de/, it would be great if you can add this as default.

  20. Send alerts as separate emails, not one aggregated email

    Please send the email alerts as separate emails, not one aggregated email. I've signed up for some alerts on topics of interest to our faculty (per their research interests on our web site) and would like to be able to forward them their relevant emails (if the opportunities look promising) instead of having to copy and paste info out of one uber-email.
