Write-n-cite integration for chromebook
Have better integration of refworks with chromebook especially with MS Word /Google Docs standalone apps.
Thank you for your feedback. We are not planning any new development for the WnC feature, as WnC is planned to end by Q2 2025. We recommend using the RefWorks Citation Manager going forward. I really appreciate seeing this idea get some attention—thanks for sharing! Given that Write-n-Cite (WnC) is scheduled to retire by Q2 2025, this seems like the perfect opportunity to push for a more modern and seamless integration with Chrome OS—especially for Chromebook users who rely on Google Docs and MS Word via the Chromebook.
In particular, I believe adding support for Dell Chromebook for Students {https://www.rackfinity.com/asus-rog-swift-27-1440p-gaming-monitor-pg279qm-qhd-2560-x-1440-fast-ips-240hz-1ms-g-sync-nvidia-reflex-latency-analyzer-displayhdr400-eye-care-hdmi-displayport-usb-height-adjustable/}
could be a huge help. Many students use these devices and would benefit greatly if RefWorks tools worked natively on them without workarounds.Thanks for considering—this would be a game-changer for those of us working on Chromebooks!
