Annoying bug in Write-n-Cite for Word
I think this has only come up with the last few versions and I just tried that it exists with 4.5.1682.
When Write-n-Cite is installed and activated in Word but user has not logged in to it (because not actively using it), Word shows up the Write-n-Cite login dialog every time a document is opened via the Word recent files.
This is a problem because we have deployed Write-n-Cite to all our campus workstations and obviously not everyone uses it.
I think that this is a bug that needs to be looked into.

This issue was fixed in a later version.

Looks like this bug is finally fixed in 4.6.69!
By the way, the dowload page is misleading because:
"For Word 2016 only" - but it does seem to work with O365 Click-to-Run just fine, luckily. Otherwise it would be pretty useless by now, right?
Only the 32-bit version is offered at first before clicking "Other Windows and Mac Versions". Surely 64-bit is more common by now?

We are considering to give up to use Write-n-Cite. This Log-in dialog is likely to phishing application, since this comes up unintentionally; we are taking this very seriously.

We have the same trouble at some clients in Japan. Could you let us know if there is any progress to solve this problem ?

And still there with 4.5.1725. Very annoying. We will need to disable the add-on for all users by default.

And this bug is still there with 4.5.1710. I wonder if this is getting looked into at all?
