Improvment for the alert filter in Alma
In Fulfillment > Citation
This filter is automatically set to "Alert:All" so we would expected the citations shown under to be all citations with alert, but this in not the case (only shows all citations).
The way we see it, the filter should be blank by default and "All" should be a possible choice, allowing to show all the citations with an alert.1 vote -
Better options/formatting when exporting a list to PDF
Exporting to PDF is a useful function but not very useable as it is:
A list of 11 citations will turn into a 5 page-pdf, with 2 citation per page most of the time (probably due to too much space in between citations).
This is clearly not good if one exported the list in order to print it, so this should be reviewed and adjusted. We also hope it will eventually be possible to choose a reference style when exporting to PDF (as with Word), once issues in that regard are fixed and the exported lists are judged satisfactory according…

Option to hide panels
Would it be possible for the top and left panels to be visible as default, with the option for the user to hide them using the tabs (rather than making them hidden as default)?

Chapter number and author to display more prominently
We would like the citation chapter number and author to be displayed alongside the chapter title (slightly larger, bold font).
Currently these fields display on the second line alongside the book title and publisher information, which lacks clarity (see attachment).

Make volume information more visible in citation in Leganto
For citations with a volume number, "Vol." is added when the list is exported to Word with APA or another style.
This happens accordingly to citation style rules, but also greatly helps identifying what kind of information the number refers to.
In Leganto, volume numbers are displayed without this pre-text, and stand on their own. Having "vol." added also in the citation in Leganto (without messing with the export) would make such citations easier to read and more userfriendly.

Choose when to empty your bag
When users add to citations to their bag to reorganise before pasting back into a reading list. They can only do this task once. It would better if they could do this multiple times, so they can add a set of citations to different reading lists or different sections in one list.

Change reading list jobs to work on sets of reading list IDs instead of reading list Codes
Currently the reading list jobs in Alma/Leganto rely on users creating a set of reading lists. Unfortunately the creation of the set is based only on the reading list code, which:
- makes it inconsistent with all other set creation activities which support IDs
- adds unnecessary complication when loading the file of data to create the set, in that you then have to worry about handling special characters and unique codes.
It would basically be the same as requiring users to upload a set of titles to create a title/physical item set.
We've had to create several reading list sets in…

List creators to be better distinguished with different colours sections in reading list
List creators would like to be able to better distinguish different reading list sections by having the option to assign them a specific colour. This would be especially useful for long lists administered by a number of different academics. For example: an academic could say to his/her students, "my readings are in the orange section". It would improve the list navigation experience for students.

Find List Search needs to have a specific Reading List Search Bar
Currently the Find List search in Leganto is searching for Course Titles and Course codes and instructors. Rather than searching at the Reading List level. As we keep most of our information at Reading List level, It would be helpful if this was renamed Find Course and Make another Search to Find Reading Lists information. Which could search Reading List title, Reading List code, and Reading List Instructors.

Display resource availability for electronic portfolios directly without having to click "View more notes" link
Availability of Citation electronice resource (e.g. "Available from year|volume|issue...") is not displayed directly on Leganto Citation Details page. User has to click "View more notes" link to un-hide availability. This is inconsistent with the behavior in Primo (Primo displays availablility directly), and take extra clicks for users to find out the information. Please display resource availability directly without having to click "View more notes" link to find it out. Thanks.

Add a job to (dis)associate reading lists with course(s)
By default un-associated reading lists are attached to the Exlibris default course, and currently any reading lists imported by Exlibris - ie from Equella, require that the courses already exist, in order to associate properly.
However, what happens if you want to change the association of a reading list to a course or courses? There is currently no API mechanism to do this, and the reading list import by Exlibris can't be run in 'resynch' mode where the courses may have been created after the reading list import.
What we're suggesting is that a job can be run using a…

Number of participants as a possible field in reading list overview
In the reading list overview in Alma it is possible to choose the kind of information shown in the table, like code, assignee, status and so on. It would be nice having the numbers of participants as an option as well.

Citation – Bibliographic record overlay enhancement request
Request:
As a Library Staff member, I would like functionality that allows me to enhance the bibliographic information in Leganto citations by identifying, retrieving, and overlaying institutional bibliographic records. I would want this functionality to be added to the Leganto interface to allow me to process a list entirely within this environment. We are aware of the “process and enrich citations job”. However, this job can be disruptive to citations where we are not supplying access via institutional holdings. We also want the ability to resolve bibliographic issues with citation on a case-by-case basis.
Situation:
When a citation has been…1 vote -
Creating section for citation without delete and recreate via API
Currently, it is not possible to create sectioninfo information if citation is already exists. It must be delete the original citation and create new citation with updated sectioninfo.
It is better to allow update of section_info directly without delete and recreate the same citation.

Embedded File Type mapping table should not be case sensitive
Currently the 'Embedded File Type mapping table' is case sensitive and will not recognise file types that are in a different case to the one entered in the table, even if the file type is technically allowed. There is also no error message to identify the issue so it just seems as though the file type is not an accepted one. We propose that the mapping table not be case sensitive and will accept all formats of allowed file types, e.g. both .png and .PNG.

Add a Leganto-specific email address after "Reply to" in notification letters
Some institutions use a Leganto-specific email address, which they would like to add at the end of the Leganto notifications letters, where it says "Reply to" (see attachment).
The address listed after that (Contact us) is a general email address for the library/institution.
Not all of them may need to use different addresses but it would be nice to have the option.
Could you consider making the necessary changes, and add a <leganto_email> element in the XML as well (XML to letter admin)?

Improvment suggestions for the Bag it function
Hi,
Several of our institutions have chosen to hide the Bag It! Function in the option menu. They agree it’s a nice concept, but the drawbacks described under led to that decision:- The citations in Bag it disappear when logging out, which comes as a surprise for many instructors. In some cases, they put a lot of work in making the Bag it list.
- Users cannot sort the list according to different criteria, which doesn’t make this tool very practical.
- Users cannot move citations over to “My collection”. Not a must, but nice to have.
I hope this can be…
