Be able to bulk upload/download campus positions.
Add a function with a button to the positions area, where we are able to bulk upload/download campus positions.
The idea being we can download a .csv of current locations and make any updates we need and then upload it back for our app to then get populated with the changes.
This would speed things up for everyone rather than editing each position one by one that takes way too long to sort.

Restrict pull-to-refresh.
The pull-to-refresh feature is great but can be troublesome.
Can the pull-to-refresh be adjusted in anyway, a lot of the time we would like to be much smaller (looking at the Facebook App as an example here).
The campusM requires a long amount of "pull" before the refresh happens. It can also be extremely sensitive when scrolling up on a long page.

Terms of use. Move "accept" to the right
Terms of use.
Based on user experience, the "Accept" option should be on the right side of the screen (and now it is on the left) and the "Reject" option on the left (now on the right).
Can you move them, please?3 votesCompleted as part of React Native App

Randomise banner images
We'd like to have a bank of banner images. We would like the system to be able to randomise the order so that students see a wider selection of adverts.
We should also be able to pin an advert to that an important message is always shown.25 votesThis is expected to be part of the July 2026 release. Allow the sendAlert API to set an alert expiry date/time.
Allow the sendAlert API to set an alert expiry date/time so that we can expire an alert after, say seven days or ten days and the user does not have to remove the alert themselves or end up with loads of old alerts .

Alphabetise the roles in the app manager
Would it be possible to alphabetise the roles in the app manager, when viewing them in the app builder and all other places.
They used to be an a familiar order, but since the first migration they have changed order, so it is really difficult to find them now.
So there must be a way of ordering these because you changed the order?
Ideally it would have "default" at the top, followed by the roles in alphabetical order.

Add option of using OAuth as an authentication method
We would like to see the introduction of OAuth as a method of authentication for the Portal and mobile apps in addition to SAML and LDAPS.
OAuth provides a method for users to grant third-party access to their resources without sharing their passwords. It also provides a way to grant limited access (in scope, duration, etc.).
OAuth also offers direct handling of non-website services. OAuth has built-in support for desktop applications, mobile devices, set-top boxes, and of course websites.
We believe it may offer a solution to our issue of having to run both SAML authentication for our portal/desktop site…

Enable Deep Linking in the applications
Enable deep linking into the apps so that we could use the functionality to not only link to content within the app via a url but also so that we can use it open the directly from other places such as Facebook app pages.

App manager - content editor - automatic position links
In the old app manager content editor you could highlight text and select a link button, which would then allow you to create the action of opening a page or more importantly to a campus map position.
In the new app manager this really useful function has been taken away, so you need to manually use links with page numbers. Which you need to dig around and find by inspecting web page code. This is very time consuming and a step backwards on the old app managers functionality.
e.g manual code: <a href="uniloc://?posCode=50433">Shop,</a>
However the answer is already there/here. The…

Add id's to elements to make automated testing easier
We use Selenium to automate our integration tests, in order to identify elements on the page we are currently having to rely on CSS selectors, but these are brittle and subject to change.
For example to automate the login process we can navigate a browser to:
https://portal.test.canterbury.ac.uk/campusm/home#select-profile
then to click a profile we were using
body > div.modal > div.modal-body > div > div > ul > li:nth-child(1) > a
to select the Student profile, but changing the order of elements breaks our tests and it seems that the underlying markup has also changed so now the Student profile is…2 votes -

headerbackground colour change
at current we have to place a transparent png over the standard grey to make the header work on all iOS device sizes. changing the background colour would allow us to use our branding more effectively.

Developer API to manage CampusM
Currently there is a lot of manual work involved in keeping the customer roles, app roles, settings, aek screens in sync between different profiles on the Ombiel portal.
It would be great to be able to have an API on it so the manual tasks can be automated on our side; something akin to AWS developer API comes to mind - either REST APIs or CLI or anything else that lets developers / administrators interact with Ombiel so all the tasks like creating roles, AEK screens, managing user / app roles will be much easier and less error prone.

QR scanner access in AEK
This feature is desirable as currently the user has to navigate menu's in order to access the QR reader.
It would be a lot better if we could integrate the qr scanner in the actual screen, providing a seamless user experience.
The key deliverable here, would be for the native qr scanner, to return the content contained with in the QR Code.

Provide the option to swipe left and right between timetable weeks rather than using the small navigation buttons.
Provide the option to swipe left and right between timetable weeks. The buttons are close to the "back" and "go" options, so swiping across might be better in times where people are less focussed on the App, like when moving between lectures.
