Password reminder
We would like to have a "Forgotten your password?" button on the login page to get a reminder via e-mail, or a link to reset the password.
The option to add ‘Forgot My Password’ or ‘Reset Password’ link is now supported for Primo customer on the new interface that are using Alma authentication profile.
Please refer to article “How to add a ‘Forgot My Password’ link to the login page in the new UI when using Alma for authentication”

Patrons (internal users) should be able to reset their passwords by themselves at any time. I strongly request Exlibris to add the function as soon as possible.

It would be beneficial to all users to have a "Forgot your password?" link on the login page to get a reminder via e-mail, or be able to reset your password. This current system of having it completely controlled by the administrator is antiquated and needs to be replaced.

This isn't an issue with our externally-managed accounts, but it's a real problem for guest/internal patrons. Would love to see this added!

because everyone is using their own central authentication system and forgot password would be different for every institution, would it be enough to just have a field within their institution profile that was a forgot password link? this link could then be displayed on the alma lgin/password form.

Facebook button yes, reset your password no... what's the point?

Even the most basic and shabby websites of the smallest local associations offer this option for many years ! Our users absolutely do not understand its absence and the professionals either.

According to only one of ours libraries' statistics, we had 300 emails between 08/22/2017 and 11/22/2017 from users looking for their passwords. At the same time, the rest of the emails received from users, about all kind of subject, didn't reach this amount.
Therefore it would really help to have a password reminder.

It is just unbelievable and difficult to justify that so simple functionality doesn't already exist in Primo user interface. The implementation of this feature is essential for the History of Medicine Library.

At the library of Nursing school in Lausanne we are astonished that this doesn't exist already. It is a standard feature in every online catalogue or database. We need it for our users !

At University Library in Lausanne, we think this functionality is essential. Our patrons are quite astonished that something so basic isn't provided via the Primo user interface.
