"Guide Me" in Primo
I would like to suggest to add “Guide Me” also in Primo for library users, as it exists already in Alma for library staff.
Most of the libraries would like to have some guides for Primo users about different useful functions. The built-in option of “Guide Me” that the user will receive during his search in Primo can be very useful. This “Guide Me” can be Generic (written by Ex Libris) and include an edit option which will allow the Librarian to edit it.
Examples where it can be relevant: 1. Expand these results. 2. Advanced search. 3. Related articles (suggested by BX). In this cases additional explanation is needed and without it these functions might be less clear or even missed.
I think this option will be helpful during searches, when the user is by him/herself and no one to assist.
