Make Journal titles hyperlinks
Hi there, users would be helped if search results didn't just bring back links to articles but also had the journal title hyperlinked to take them to the journal's home page or contents page. To help further there could be text box that instructs the user to search for the article they're looking for in the journal's site. Deep links to articles are the most common to fail so this improvement would help students find the articles within journal/publishers sites. Saving time and making them give up less easily.
Thanks for your consideration.
Cheers, James

Hi Stacey,
So, when searching for an article the results show links - could be PCI or from Alma or somewhere else - direct to article. Unfortunately these are the most common to show an error so if where the name of the journal is mentioned (in brief results or anywhere) this could be a hyper link to the journal. I imagine this link could be generated by Alma. Not sure about that part. I would guess it would be possible but would need users to be aware that the link was there to provide more help and not to replace the direct article link.
Does that all make sense?
Cheers,
James

Hi James
Could you clarify if you referring to the ispartof field for PCI results, in the Brief Results and the Full Record Display?
