Linked Account Shared Fields (expand with additional identifiers)
Dear,
we would like to be able to copy over the additional id's when 'find a user in another institution'! Could this field be added to the Linked Account Shared Fields mapping table?

Gijs.25 votesSetting up 'Cross Consortia Identifiers' in the NZ enables selecting which IDs will be shared across the network. The IDs must be unique across all teh network !

Add roles to a user with the same roles as an already created user
Many times we need to add a user with the same roles already created in another user.
Alma should allow copying of all roles from one user to another.8 votesYou can create a role profile with the exact roles and scopes you want to re-use, and then use this profile to re-assign the same set of roles to other users.

Have both preferred and regular user names populate User Management search list
Currently when searching for a user by their regular name, only the preferred name populates the search list. In our sandbox, with a nod to Jane Austen, a user named Elizabeth Bennet has the preferred name Lizzie Darcy. A search for Bennet only pulls up the preferred name in the list of results. This results in some confusion because there are numerous Bennets. If both names appeared, no matter what the circumstances, the patron could be readily found.

Emailing patrons straight from their patron record
From the patrons contact information: It would be great to be able to send emails straight from their account. (Click on email and have it open in outlook.) This would alleviate have to copy and paste into a seperate account.

Import internal patrons from a spreadsheet
Bulk import internal patrons from a spreadsheet.
We have high school students in our campus that are not yet taking college courses, but do use our library to check out materials. Every Fall semester we will be manually adding this students into Alma. It would be helpful to import these students in bulk.

Allow Options for Loan Display, either "Loans of this session" or "All loans"
In Fulfillment > Manage Patron Services > [patron] > Loans tab, currently the loan display can only default to "Loans of this session". "All loans" is a more useful display for our purposes and we would like to be able to set it as the default, but that is not possible.
2 votesThe option to set ‘loan display’ default can be controlled using the “other settings” menu located within the Fulfillment configuration menu.

"delete loan" option
In the loan tab, in the patron folder, there is an option called "Delete loan". This option is offered when you click on "..." for an active loan.
This option is "dangerous" because if we use it, there is no more history of the previous loan. Is it possible to offer the possibility to hide this option for certain users? It could be comprehensible to offer this functionnality to chief but not to desk operators.

Find and Manage Users by User Status
Add the ability to find and manage users and create user-based sets based on User status (Active or Inactive)
1 voteWhen using the new advanced search option to find a users set, you can also filter the result by the activity status before saving the set. The result list will come up with the saved filter.

Allow search by patron phone number
In the UI and the API. This would be helpful in managing opt-in/opt-out for SMS notification programs. We know a number has replied STOP to a library notification, but don't know which patron's settings to adjust!
