Include Barcode in Reading List Search Results
If a user performs a search in Fulfilment > Course Reserves > Reading List > All tab for a course, book titles are listed, and the record shows there are 2 Physical copies. Clicking to see the 2 copies, the barcode number is not displayed.
By contrast, searching Physical Items, barcode is clearly visible on the results screen by default.

Allow library configuration to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests
University of Wisconsin Madison has a ‘Withdrawn’ library, where items are moved and suppressed, because they are deaccessioned (e.g, extra copies that are no longer needed) or lost and missing materials. We use this method for in-depth reporting for capital depreciation and other accounting measures. As these items technically don't physically exist, we would like to be able to block Temporary or Permanent Move requests (to Change the items location) on the ‘Withdrawn’ library. Please add an ics-formatted attachment to loan receipt an recall letters send by e-mail. So the patron can import the dates for returning the books into his calendar-app. The ics-File should contain:

Include renewal override prompt when using "Renew selected" or "Renew all".
Include prompt for override when using "Renew selected" or"Renew all" button in Patron services if the item's renewal is not allowed by TOU.

Include Library Name in Item Available Notice Subject Line
Allow for the option to include the name of the library sending an available notice, "Main Library Available Notice" or "Art Library Available Notice" for example. Would be applicable to any notice where items referenced are from a single library.

Proxy and sponsor display and sorting
It would be helpful to be able to sort the sponsors for a proxy alphabetically in the "Proxy for" tab of the User Details page. Currently they only display in the order in which they were added. Some proxies work for multiple sponsors so being able to sort them and even search would be helpful. It would also be nice if the drop down window used during checkout could display alphabetically as well.

Option for physical item requesting only items that are checked out.
In Alma, it seems that in the Terms of Use for requesting, you can only choose requestable and non-requestable. Is it possible to have an option to only request items that are checked out?

In Calendar Management, allow the removal of old exception dates without changing upcoming due dates
Currently, in the Alma Calendar Management configuration page, if an exception (closed) date from the past is removed then loans with upcoming due dates can be affected when the Due Date Correction after Calendar Change job runs.
It would be helpful if there was a way to remove old exception dates without upcoming due dates changing. Otherwise, exception dates can never be removed.

Add link to patron record from Item History
Currently in an item's circulation history, there is a list under "fulfillment" which shows who last checked out an item.
It currently lists the primary identifier, but doesn't link back to the patron's record in any other way, requiring a full search to pull up their record.
Having a link directly to the patron record would be a significant time-saver.

Add the due date when you scan a book in "scan in items"
When we scan a book in "scan in items" in our library, it could loan the book to the reader (for the home delivery).
In those cases, we would like to see the due date immediately rather than have to check in the user's account.

Add SIP2 Bin rule parameter for Fulfillment Notes
It would be useful if the Alma internal SIP2 Bin rules were a little more granular, i.e. to help pass a different BIN number if there is a Fulfillment Note present.
Although there are SIP fields which can be used for this at the sorter machine logic level, it would be useful to be able to use Alma's own granular item information to distinguish the sort for requested or transiting items for those with fulfillment notes and those without.

Return All button required on Manage Patron Services > Loan tab
As a complement to the Renew All button which is available under the Loan tab of Manage Patron Services, we would like to push for the addition of a Return All button too.
The workflow of our capacity management and shelf-checking staff is such that the entire contents of an Internal Processing user account frequently require discharging all at once. Being able to do this by the touch of one button, rather than painstaking wanding of barcodes in Return Items, would provide a quick and elegant solution.

Ability to select numerous items and mark them as missing all together, instead of clicking each individual one and mark as missing one by one.

Provide Configuration Options for Lost Item Replacement Fee TOU Precedence in Alma
Some items have price information in the record, and some do not. Rather than delete all price info or try to add it to each record, our library would like the option to force the system to defer to the Lost Item Replacement Fee (LIRF) stored in the Fulfillment TOUs over the item price in the record (if one exists). new TOU: pickup in (permanent) owning library
We have different pickup-TOU:
- pickup in all libraries
- pickup in owning libraryIf an item with TUO "pickup in owning library" is transfered to a temporary library (ILL), the a user see as pickup location the (temporary) ILL-library and not the library that owned the item permanent.
to solve this, it should exist es new TOU:
"pickup in permant owning library"

Change Fulfillment to Circulation
Fulfillment isn't an intuitive label for us. Circulation is the term we use, or allow libraries to call it whatever they want if you don't want to change it globally.

Auto-renew - Maximum renew date in Borrowing Activity Letter
We have been running auto renew for several months and it is very popular. We do not notify customers that an item has been successfully renewed but do send weekly updates and would lie to include the Maximum Renewal date on these. Although it displays in Primo we have not been able to find a way to include it in Letters and would like to request this functionality is added please

Course Reserves Items
Another thing I would like to see is when you look up an item record that is on reserve, in the record it shows what course it is on reserve for. Looking at item records in Leganto does this, which seems based off of Primo, so I would think it is a possibility (when you open up an item record it says at this bottom, "Appears on these reading lists:" and list the lists it appears on).

We profiled a 24 hour "embargo" using the new Reloan Limit parameter in Alma, so patrons have to wait 24 hours before checking out another laptop. However, there have been several times that a patron checked out a laptop, but experienced technical difficulties with the device and returned it to check out a replacement device.
