    We considered using the Generic Field but this was a deal-breaker for us.

  2. Alma should remove any whitespace before/after identifiers, barcodes, call numbers etc.

    We are in a similar situation to waive fines and fees created within a set period. I think this would be an extremely useful feature to have.

    Great idea. Our users will certainly benefit from this enhancement. This will allow entry to the library using only their mobile phone without having to carry around an additional card.
