UNSW is moving onto the new UI shortly and would like to raise this interoperability issue once again. We hope that other libraries see the benefit of this idea and can add their votes for support
When processing citations in Alma, librarians cannot tell if a file is hidden or not unless they select “View in Leganto,” every time a citation contains a file. This is an ineffective and inefficient way of Leganto processing citations.
UNSW Library want to propose an enhancement that shows a clear indication within Alma that an uploaded file has been hidden.
By having this visible indication within Alma will assist the librarian to verify file’s status and complete the citation processing within one interface as the systems design intended.
If this enhancement is endorsed, we would also like the indicator to remain even after reading list rollover.
