    Kirstie Genzel writes, "suggestion was to "make a copy of the record in the IZ so it can be added to the Collection." That is not a solution...it defeats the whole point of having an NZ!" I agree. We shouldn't have to "copy to catalog" every e-book we want to add to a collection just because it's in the NZ.

    Course reserves reading lists have this problem. The bib record provides the number of "nonfiling characters" in MARC 245 second indicator. Let's use it!
