    Dear community, this idea was reviewed and accepted, below you can find the suggested design, please feel free to comment if you have further suggestion:

    1. It will be possible to sort the interested users list using arrows. The hold requests will be activated as per the order in the interested users tab.

    2. A check mark for ‘Loan to first interested user’ will cause the received item to be automatically loaned to the first interested user when the item is received.

    3. It will be possible to print the list of users (in the proper order) when the item is received

    Three and a half years later...
    I would like to ask again when the first two points will be implemented?

    Hi @Noam Fass

    this is about a development that was already accepted by Ex Libris in 2021. If I see it correctly, only the third aspect you described has been implemented in Alma so far.

    When will the first two points be implemented?

    The "feature" "User's Role Profiles Now Recorded in Account Notes" introduced with the May 2023 release is useless for us.

    Unfortunately, the note is only assigned to all newly created or newly assigned role profiles and the old user records remain untouched

    Although with the September 2023 release a parameter is to be introduced that prevents the creation of the notes, there is no proper batch possibility to delete the notes that have been created by then in thousands.

  3. Allow user to ‘Withdraw’ and ‘Open Predicted Items’ from the ‘Received Items Screen’.

    We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.
