    I just want to build on the original post to add that the 041 can't distinguish between subtitles and closed captions/SDH, only the 546 carries that information. For this reason, the 546 is super important, among others such as other language granularity issues that the 041 in its current form cannot adequately address.

    I agree, though currently don't have votes to contribute. Another use case (for us) is that OverDrive will let us know certain titles are going to expire, but we won't get the updated MARC files immediately. It would be great to be able to specify a date when they should deactivate, and to do so as an option within the Change Electronic Portfolio Information job. Our next expiration date is the day after Thanksgiving, when our libraries are all closed. It would be nice for this to happen automatically.
