  1. Add facet for stock status

It would be helpful to have a facet for filtering search results by the stock/shipping time for books in the marketplace. The ability to filter out not in stock items or items with long shipping times without have to explicitly search with that limiter.

  2. Flag EBC suscribed content (Acdemic Complete) in Rialto as OASIS does to avoid duplicate orders, even without a MARC record in Alma

OASIS flags titles that are part of Academic Complete or Literature & Language collections, if the institution subscribes to those collections. Rialto only relies on holdings in Alma to identify existing access. However, if an AC MARC record is missing, Rialto allows you to purchase access to EBC subscribed content.

Could you consider adding subscribed content alerts in Rialto based on what is currently active in Academic Complete, please?

  3. Display the Process Type in the Rialto Holdings Panel

The Holdings panel in the Marketplace indicates whether the title is already in the institution holdings. In some cases, the item may not be available. It would be very useful if the process type (Missing, Lost, Claimed Returned, Acquisition, Loan, Hold Shelf...) would be displayed in the panel itself. The reason why it is not available is hidden. If we see ‘Missing’ or ‘Lost’, the library may be more inclined to buy a new copy. The information is available, though after several clicks.

  4. Rialto Market to Alma Purchase Request Crosswalk

When Selectors put purchase requests through the Alma Purchase Request form the Purchasing Manager can push the request to Rialto Market. But when Selectors put something in Rialto Market the Purchasing Manager cannot push it to Alma Purchasing Request form. This would be extremely helpful and eliminate the need to go into Rialto, cancel the order and re-create it from scratch in the Alma Purchase Request form.

  5. Recents option when adding funds

When adding to DDA can the funds selection have a "recents" option so we can select the most used fund, rather than having to scroll down the list of funds available

  6. Add Reporting Codes as a drop down field when selecting item for DDA

At the point of adding a title to DDA, a drop down field would be beneficial to input Reporting Codes so when a title is triggered this information pulls through into the POL which we wish to use to report from.

Rialto has added reporting codes for both DDA offers added to the pool from a selection plan and when manually adding a title to the DDA pool so that users can enhance internal reporting capabilities. This is available to folks who have migrated to the new order/invoice service for Rialto.

Manual DDA add settings will also now persist from page to page for the user’s session.

  7. Purchase details link from Market search offer list

In reviewing an offer list and we see an entry with the flag Purchased in Rialto, how about configuring that button to go directly to the purchase details for this purchase in our Order History?

  8. Upgrade ProQuest Ebook Central Licenses within Rialto

It is currently not possible to upgrade ProQuest ebook licenses within Rialto. Instead, users must go to LibCentral to do this. We should be able to do this in Rialto.

  9. Working with lists in Rialto

Make it easier to view the various iterations of a work when working within the Rialto list environment. Right now you can only view in the list the work iteration that exactly matches your ISBN. You have to click on the iteration, then "see other iterations" to view the other iterations. It would be great if the list feature could display multiple iterations like a general marketplace search does.

  10. Add fields to Market Search export

Current behavior: When you export a list of titles from a Market Search, the spreadsheet includes only three fields: title, author, and language.

Desired behavior: When you export a list of titles from a Market Search, the spreadsheet fields should include: title, author, publication year, publisher, binding, material, ISBN13, classification, license, and price.

This would match the behavior of exporting to Excel from 'My Lists' or 'My Feeds.'

  11. "In your lists" tag hyperlinked to take you directly to the list in question.

When looking at a record in Alma that flags up as "In your lists," it would be really helpful if the "In your lists" tag is hyperlinked to take you to the list in question so that comments can be added etc. At the moment it doesn't even tell you which list it is in, and to get to them you have to go to the My Lists link and look for it.

This is now completed with the April, 2024 release. Clickable links adjacent to badges are now present within offer details to allow users to more easily navigate through Rialto.

    Upon clicking a badge:

    • "In your cart" - redirects to the user's cart, with a focus on the selected item.
    • "In your lists" - navigates to the pertinent list, highlighting the selected item.
    • "Purchased in Rialto" - leads to the order history, centered on the selected item.

  12. Improve accuracy and currency of availability information for titles

We frequently get notification of orders being cancelled despite them showing as available for purchase. It seems that the availability information is not as up to date as it could be and the result is a lot of time wasted in manually cancelling POLs in Alma. Please provide more up to date information on the actual availability of titles.

  14. Add a Shipping Time Facet to Marketplace search results

Please add a Shipping Time facet to results from a Marketplace search. In this way selectors can quickly know if items are "In Stock, Usually ships within a few days" or will take longer to ship. I always look for this when selecting titles. This facet will make the process much easier. Thanks.

  15. Add tracking numbers to Rialto order history

Add (shipping) tracking numbers to the order history details panel.

'Shipped to customer' is already one of the statuses - add a tracking number and link so that we can track the shipments.

When provided by the carrier, Rialto will display the tracking URL for physical shipments. The tracking number and link appear within the order details for a physical item on the order history page.

Tracking will appear for all orders going forward, the change is not retroactive.

  16. Return to point in Recommendations feed when navigating back

Return to point in Recommendations list after going back from viewing Library Activity. Currently 'back' takes you to the start of a list.

This was completed as part of the June 2022 release. However, when testing we did notice that it will align to the top of the page until the page is fully loaded, which can take a moment, and then place you back on the item you'd originally selected after the page loads.

    https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Rialto/Release_Notes/Release_Notes_2022/000Rialto_2022_Release_Notes?mon=202206BASE

We did find an issue with this working correctly on the "Orders Awaiting Approval" page. We have opened a ticket with the team to have this fixed.

  17. Notifications when saved forthcoming titles are officially published

We have a running list of not yet published titles that we frequently check for publication updates. We also have a handful sitting in our Orders Awaiting Approval cart. It would be great if Rialto could send us a notification when saved titles are officially published and available for purchase (not pre-order).

  18. Add advanced search option for market search

It would be helpful to search by title and author (or other common advanced search options) when searching in the market to save time when trying to find a requested title.

  19. Display total number of items in a on a list in the list summary view

Show the total count of titles on a list within the list summary page. Knowing the count of titles at a glance can better inform if a list is active or can be deleted.

  20. Sort List by Author

Introduce a new sort option to lists: author name. This will allow us to view a list grouped by author.
