Enable authentication on purchase request web form
The customization options on the purchase request web form are great, but we cannot use it until the requestor can authenticate. We need to know who they are.
At present they appear as "Guest" in the request. An accident waiting to happen - when we update the requester to the wrong person.
Also we would only want this service available to institutional members, and would want to avoid mischievous use by unknown persons.71 votesHello,
We developed this feature to not have authentication. There is a form available in Alma that does support authentication. I searched and I think this answer provides links to how to create an authenticated form in Alma: Direct Linking to the Purchase Request Form - Ex Libris Knowledge Center (exlibrisgroup.com)

Activate electronic inventory in Alma regardless of invoicing by provider platform for Rialto
Rialto aligns activation of electronic inventory in Alma with invoicing by the provider platform, except for Rapid Activation providers.
This causes a poor patron experience when we find that the platform may very quickly activate a resource, but take longer to provide an invoice.
In sum, the patron doesn’t get the Interested User notice of access for sometimes weeks, only due to paperwork and library staff having to do manual work to follow up orders open for an unexpectedly long period. It is suggested that all providers supplying electronic inventory orders via Rialto have the same process flow as for…
32 votesHello,
Elizabeth is correct, we aren't able to activate portfolios until we have been notified by the provider that the item is available. For some platforms, this comes with their invoice. If we make things available before we are notified that they are available there would be times where we didn't have a URL for activation or that if a patron tried to access the item it would not be available on the platform. That being said, we are trying to optimize activation to ensure it happens in Alma as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your idea.

DDA pool - display more information about when titles were added and who added them
We would like to be able to see the date/time when titles were added to the DDA pool, and which operator added them. Currently it is only possible to filter by month. Date/time would make it easier to troubleshoot when the MARC records occasionally don't get imported by the Repository import in Alma PDA.

Add vendor account information to the EDI file
Currently, EDI files for Rialto do not include the vendor account information, requiring us to manually enter this information for each invoice. This requires numerous extra clicks in order to close invoices. Per Alma's documentation, this information can be automatically populated using the RFF+API input field. We would like the EDI configuration updated to include this field.

Added detail to badges
We sometimes see the badge "in your institution" for an item in the marketplace, but when looking at the detailed holdings information, it's actually a different edition or format. It would be helpful to have an alternate badge in those cases: something like "in your institution- mismatched ISBN", "in your institution- alternate edition", or "in your institution- alternate format". This way, we could tell at a glance whether we owned the exact edition or format we're looking to purchase.

Ability to configure purchase forms in Alma
Add the ability to configure the purchase forms used in the cart by selectors.
At the moment you can change what fields are viewed as default by your institution but they can be reselected by an individual user creating their own view.
For example we do not use item policy and we do not want all users being able to send notes to vendors from this form.

Reporting code selection
After the March update, we are seeing a drop down with radio buttons for the reporting code field. You must select the reporting code and then click off of the drop down in order for the drop down to disappear. This is not efficient when working through the orders. Since this is new behavior implemented by the Rialto developers, we would like to have the ability to disable this feature and regress back to the original behavior which is being able to select recently used or selecting the code then having the drop down disappear after the selection.

Ability to add a notes field to Rialto DDA order
If you order a DDA title via Rialto, it would be good to have the ability to add to note in relation to the requester which would be added to the order it purchase triggered.

Allow order template to be applied at selection stage rather than in cart
Option to add order template at item selection stage to enable users to fill up their cart with multiple items and check out just once per session. Currently a template can only be added once an item is within the cart; meaning a user must remember each item's requirements and apply the correct template if they have a full cart of items, or have to check each item out individually.

Have the amount listed as "freight" on PDF invoices map to "shipping" by default instead of "overhead." This would be clearer for Analytics.

Fix citations reverting to older editions when added from the 'Rialto search scope' in Leganto
The current problem occurs when we use the Rialto search scope in Leganto to find a new edition of a book, and we already hold previous edition(s) of the same title. When we add the title to the reading list, it associates to the ISBN of previous editions and the citation reverts to an older held version. This is the opposite of what we want it to do, we want it to be used to highlight where a new edition is available so we can begin a purchase of this new content - which would be in ProQuest's interests too!

Automatic interested users
Can we elect to have Rialto purchasers automatically inserted as interested users into an order? That way, anyone that orders an item in Rialto will automatically be notified when the item is available. Right now, I have to add them in prior to receiving the item.

Include Call Number / Classification information on Orders Awaiting Approval records
The appropriate location for physical materials in our library is dependent on the call number. Our selectors don't know the breakdown, and by the time an offer is awaiting approval, the call number/classification information isn't listed in the task list; an approver would have to go back to the Title in the Market to get that relevant information. We'd like the call number/classification information in the brief results on the Orders Awaiting Approval page to avoid this extra step.

Cart Templates--Approval search
Templates are searchable when ordering titles but they are not searchable once in the approval queue. For instances where a template would be useful and there are many templates to search through it would be great to be able to search the templates in the approval area as well.

Display fund amount in cart and error message if insufficient funds
Currently, selectors are able to submit orders for approval while using funds with insufficient funds (regardless of the overencumbrance being set to yes, no, or limitless). The selector will not see an error message saying that the funds are insufficient for the title.
We would like an option for the available funds to be made visible for the approver when they select the fund, with an error message being triggered upon checkout. Alternatively, it shouldn't be possible to send for approval with an insufficient fund

Title Alerts list functionality improvements
Use case: I have 30+ title alerts and need to add a parameter to each of them. When I go into an alert and edit it, clicking Save takes me back to the top of the list. Even when I'm on the second page.
Need: Save should take me back to the same place in the list where I left off. The last-clicked alert should be highlighted (as it is when I don't make a change and click Cancel).
Also, the list of title alerts should be exportable--just like every other list in Alma.
