Identify suppressed records in Analytics
We would like a way to identify suppressed records in Analytics.
We can see the utility of suppressed records in our system, but we're reluctant to apply this functionality until we have a reliable way to find them again. If we could identify the records through Analytics, we could keep track of them over time. This would allow us to include/exclude them from reports. This would be useful as policies and procedures change, it may be necessary to publish the suppressed records or delete them from the system entirely.
As an example, a faculty member may add a conference presentation to their profile, but there is no file or link to the presentation, so we would want to suppress it from the repository. If the faculty member leaves and no longer has a profile, we would have no reason to keep the record and would want to identify it through Analytics and then delete it.

Thank you for this idea but please note that this is already supported with the “Display in portal” field (added in May release)

We have confirmed that we can find what was previously suppressed by searching "Display in portal is equal to no" in Analytics.

I'd also like to add that having this information available via the Asset Lookup method of the Esploro API's would be beneficial.
