Suggestion about de-duplicate feature
After running the duplicate checker, items that result are check-marked by default. In my view, it would be better that none of them are check-marked by default. Then the user can check-mark just the ones they want to delete, without having first to deselect all the items.

With deduplication improvements released in 2023, user may deselect all re-selected references with one click.

I would prefer to have the same ability I have in legacy RefWorks, the ability to either use or disable the auto-checking of duplicates. If I have to choose to either have the auto-checking turned on or turned off, I would choose to have it turned off. When many of the retained members of duplicate pairs have to be added to new folders and it's not possible to delete a single reference without deselecting all the other checked references, the current auto-checking of duplicates makes deletion of duplicates very difficult. It is so difficult to deal with large numbers of duplicates in such situations (I sometimes deal with hundreds of duplicates), that it becomes easier to avoid the duplicate detection feature and try to find the duplicates in the "all references" list without help of the duplicate detection feature. This shouldn't be necessary. cmschmidt@unmc.edu
