Improve Import from old RefWorks
Please improve your import tool from the old RefWorks platform, as it does not import all references as it is now. I've tried multiple times in the last two years. I'm not switching to your RW platform, and keep using the old one because of this: I'm not willing to lose valuable references in the process.
1 voteIn the first half of 2020 we will be addressing some upgrade issues, primarily the mapping of fields. However all references can be imported when upgrading, either with the upgrade button (if enabled by institution) or by exporting from legacy and importing to (new) RefWorks. If not all references are importing, please open a support case at https://supportcase.exlibrisgroup.com/?product=Refworks

Is it possible to get the add in file for the reference citation manager to install it manually on systems, which didn't support the store?
3 votesRCM can only be deployed through the store. Please refer to the following article for details on how IT staff can deploy it to users in case they block the store: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Knowledge_Articles/Enabling_RefWorks_Citation_Manager

Clear last imported folder when a new import is made
In RefWorks original, when you import a reference set, the Last Imported folder was reset, so only that import is contained in the folder.
Now, "Last Imported" isn't last imported, it's ALL references imported in the last 30 days!
At best, it now requires the additional steps of selecting and clearing references from the so-called last imported folder before you import new references; and if you forget, the old references are left in with the new references, making it harder to work on only the new references.
If you insist on keeping it this way, then rename the folder "Recently…
16 votesThank you for the suggestion. After careful consideration, we decided to prioritize other features that align more closely with our users' goals.
Note: Last imported folder can be cleared anytime with one click of "Clear Last Imported".

I can not download write n cite in word 2016?!!
i can not download write n cite on mac word2016? always asks for java to be installed although i have already installed java!!
1 voteFor word 2016 on mac RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) is supported, not Write-n-Cite. Please refer to the following link for details about writing tool and operating system compatibility, and for installation details: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Product_Documentation/RefWorks_User_Guide/0500_RefWorks_Plugins%3A_Connecting_Your_Browser%2C_Microsoft_Word%2C_and_Google_Docs_to_RefWorks

Fix MS Word Cite-n-Write plugin
MS Word Cite-n-Write plugin has many custom style related bugs and problems. Usually fields won't update values as expected when syncing and updating, and creating localizations is rather difficult. Also exporting and importing CSL styles is impossible or too complex.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. We are not planning any new development for the WnC feature, as WnC is planned to end by Q2 2025. We recommend using the RefWorks Citation Manager going forward. Error al Referenciar en Vancouver
Al referenciar con tipo de fuente TESIS, no genera correctamente la referencia. Por ejemplo debería tomar primero apellido del autor y luego inicial, pero hace lo contrario.

Fix Dropbox link or make an app for READING offline
I am using many ebooks for my research projects, which I can't access without having internet and logging in through my institution's library (Reworks). I wish you would make RefWorks more offline user-friendly.
3 votesThe Dropbox link is working. The encountered issue will be managed one-on-one.

importing names with 'foreign characters' such as ä, ö, å to be imported correctly.
at the moment, when there is an import of a 'foreign character' in a person's name, the letters do not get saved corrected. It would be good to include the import without manual changes. Note, this does not happen all of the time, it does happen frequently though.

WNC "formatting document" glitch
When using WNC, it is possible to get a glitch, which causes MS Word to freeze to "formatting document" when adding or removing references into the text. This is most likely due to existing "broken" references in the text. I managed to fix this by completely removing the citation and parts of the text surrounding it. Removing only the visibly broken citation in the text and saving caused the problem to reoccur. Problem is discussed here:

Please negate the need for Refworks to require a new tab and login when I export new references from my Institution's database.
I would like all my exported references to default to the Refworks database I already have open at the time.
Each time I export a new reference into Refworks, I am asked to login again which results in multiple Refworks tabs open.61 votesAfter investigation we determined this is not possible to change as each database sets own link targets on their own sites, resulting in RefWorks being open in separate tab. With multiple tabs, references are imported independently and are not overwritten.

Search should default to folder you are working in
If you are currently in a folder, perhaps the search function should default to searching the folder you are in, with an option to search your entire database of references.

New feature to link references
It will be very useful (at leas to me) to add a new feature that will allow to set a link between references, i.e.
- is cited by
- is review of
- Is a rejoinder of
- etc.
And the posibility to use that feature while building bibiographies to inser while citing a book where is reviewed, who has cited it,etc.
A search engine to follow that tree and navigate thru it would be useful too.

How about making Write'n'Cite work?

Provide the ability to add different reference types to an existing style
There are new forms of information all the time and students are referencing increasingly varied things in their assignment. It would be useful if we could add new reference types to our institutional referencing style to cover these things.
