Repair display error in spacing between surname and initials
When importing a reference it displays correctly in the centre pane. However, when using that reference 'in text' it does not utilise the 'et al' option for numerous authors. One has open Refworks, edit the entry, add a space between the surname and initial/first name for each name and then save the entry before returning to the document to continue.

URGENT - New import HELP (BIBLIOSAN)
Dear ALL,
I am writing from the San Matteo hospital (Bibliosan consortium). We are participating in an important European project on convalescent plasma and Covid-19. We are doing a bibliographic search in many databases. Many of these are not present in the Refwork import and also their export formats. Do you think it is not acceptable that formats such as .txt, .csv, .xml cannot be imported into Refworks in both new and 2.0.
These are important sites such as EU Clinical Trials Register https://www.clinicaltrialsregister.eu/ctr-search/search (attached on example) or WHO https://www.who.int/ictrp/en/.Can you add these formats or databases? Our research…
21 votesAfter taking a look at the files generated by these sites, we see they are not reference files and don’t have consistent reference metadata. Therefore they cannot be imported as references. You can of course upload such a file into RefWorks in order to store it in your collection (as a single reference with the file attached, not a reference per entry in the file). To do so select “Add” → “Upload Document”.

Search Databases
Allow admins to add any databases to the Search Databases feature. For example, EBSCO databases, Gale Databases, Primo, WorldCat, Google Scholar, etc. It is currently limited to Z39.50, which is an old protocol.

Fix downloading of attached files
I can't download attachments from my Refworks library. I can't get in touch with support either. I would not recommend RefWorks to anybody.

Have a public URL for sharing projects
In folders, it is possible to share with those who are not affiliated with the university. Is it possible to have a public URL option available when sharing projects?

Migrate non-institutional users to new platform
I created my initial refworks account after I filed my dissertation and was granted a "lifetime" account that is independent of an institution. I would like to migrate to new refworks, but there is not currently support for this type of user -- non-institutional accounts -- to upgrade. Could you please allow us to migrate to new refworks?

I would like to suggest that an upgrade be written so RefWorks can interface with Scrivener.
It would be very handy to be able to import citations into the Scrivener writing system, as opposed to just having access to Word, etc.

Specify when multiple shared first-authors or selectively modifying a given citation
Nowaday, there are more and more issues with sharing of first-authorship. In our field, it is recommended to cite all first-authors.
Here are two articles:
1. Dohner K., Ramos-Nascimento A., Bialy D., Anderson F., Hickford-Martinez A., Rother F., Koithan T., Rudolph K., Buch A., Prank U., et al. Importin alpha1 is required for nuclear import of herpes simplex virus proteins and capsid assembly in fibroblasts and neurons. PLoS Pathog. 2018;14:e1006823. doi: 10.1371/journal.ppat.1006823

Can we have a listing for TED talks so that it comes out correct for APA 7? I have to do it by hand now.
There are many TED talks referenced and Refworks does not really recognize APA 7 needs. can we please have that so we do not have to do it by hand each time? thank you

save to Refworks
I'm an UNED user (my institution does not appear at the login) but I can login with my uned email and in your settings it recognises me as UNED user. The problem comes when I try to "save to Refworks" . Appears the login validation on the right and it doesn't recognises me as an user. So I cannot save the web page, having to do it manually. Mac OS catalina 10.15. Safari 13.1.1

Modify the RIS file import from Scopus to recognize origin
When the automatic importing from Scopus was working, there was an icon indicating it was from Scopus. This does not happen with the importing from Scopus as an RIS. Can that Icon be added?

Write n Cite update
The update on the Refworks is not really giving room to work with the references or edit the text. The previous approach was certainly good than having to copy and paste into another document just to retain control of your document. Can you please get us back to what it used to be?
3 votesThank you for your feedback. We are not planning any new development for the WnC feature, as WnC is planned to end by Q2 2025. We recommend using the RefWorks Citation Manager going forward. Keep search terms while searching PubMed from within New RefWorks
In the Advanced search form, if a user types in a term then decides to change the search field, the text they type is erased. This leads to user frustration. I reported it to the Support Portal and go the reply that is by design not a bug. This would be a suggested improvement, if you would like to make suggestions for improving the product please add them to our forum at https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/909445-refworks . The suggestions made here are used by the management and development team to chart future product development.
So here it is and thank you for considering…1 vote -

The word tool is not working properly after the latest update
The citations get stuck in the text, they can not be moved or deleted anymore. fix it please
1 votePlease refer to the updated documentation that explains how to edit citations with the latest version: Do not use the common Word functions Cut, Copy, Delete, and Paste for citations. Instead of Delete and Cut use the RCM Delete Citation action and instead of Copy, insert an additional example of the citation.
The full documentation can be found here: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Product_Documentation/RefWorks_User_Guide/0500_RefWorks_Plugins%3A_Connecting_Your_Browser%2C_Microsoft_Word%2C_and_Google_Docs_to_RefWorks#RefWorks_Citation_Manager
Editing Citations via the Edit pane ensures they will always be connected to RefWorks and manual changes won’t be overridden, as happened in the previous version. We do plan to allow manual edits at a later time, in a more advanced manner than was previously supported. The updated RCM has many improvements over the previous version and we will be developing it continuously. -
Refworks bugs on linux
Things that currently do not work when trying to import from legacy refworks:
The "authorize import from legacy refworks button" does nothing
I cannot upload any file in the "import references" pane
references were not extracted RIS, BIB and TXT files that I was able to upload in the "upload document" section , and the list of references were saved as a single reference
I was subsequently unable to delete these references
I will continue using the (highly functional, excellent) legacy refworks until these issues are fixed

Enhanced reporting in New RefWorks
Please consider enhancing New RefWorks reporting. Either same reporting as Legacy RefWorks, or report break out for the following categories: All Disciplines, All Department, All Roles. Currently we cannot correlate reporting between Legacy RefWorks and New RefWorks.

[New RefWorks] 나만의 출력스타일(Citation style) 공유하기 기능 추가해주세요 - Request for my custom citation styles share feature
The users can share the custom citation style by using back-up and restore function in Legacy, but New RefWorks is not. It was very useful feature. I want to share my custom style with my colleague not publish to the institutional style in public.
