  1. Remove shared folder access codes

We've noticed that when a user shares a folder, the link that the recipient receives generates a screen that asks for an access code if they are not already logged into RefWorks.

We can see that there is a login link in the top banner but most of our users will miss this.

Is it possible to have the usual login options (e-mail address and institutional login) in the main screen?

We've also noticed that, once you do login, it takes a little while for the shared folder to appear in the menu section on the left and once it…

  2. Make more author name flexibility possible!

Currently, anything that does not follow a strict last-first name format doesn't work in Refworks. (E.g. the citation manager can't handle "Paul VI" as an author.) This seems like it would be so easy to fix by the use of quotation marks or some other indicator to keep the formatting as it is typed by the user. 3. Improve CTR Harvard

Being reluctant to create an institutional version of CTR Harvard, can the RefWorks supplied version of CTR Harvard be improved to make it more accurate? eg by making book/article titles sentence cased? or by the making the journal title, title cased? This is already done for APA.

  4. Video records and APA format

APA format requires that author/director precede the video title. The record format in RefWorks only includes a director field. The APA format export places title before director and excludes the [video] of [film] part of the citation.

Please provide more metadata field options for video records and options to select video, film, etc.
