Content
We welcome your ideas for new content (metadata) to add to the Knowledge Bases (KBs - Alma CZ, SFX, 360) and Discovery services (CDI - Central Discovery Index whose data supports Primo and Summon).
- Check if your idea has already been posted and vote for it before posting a new idea.
- Choose the right category: "New Provider" for content from a provider that has no available content in the KBs or CDI, or "Existing Provider" for content from a provider that already has content available in the KBs or CDI.
- Add a direct link to the provider/resource you suggest, and a contact person if possible.
- For enrichment requests add the relevant collection ID(s).
- Make sure you mention any specific added value your idea has to the community such as language or supporting diversity.
- Did you find errors in an existing collection? please open a case.
- A new year has begun but no corresponding annual collection? post an idea in Idea Exchange, make sure to mention if it is an existing provider.
- Existing Provider - if your idea is for a new collection from a provider that already has content available in the KBs and CDI or enriching records for an existing collection, use this category. No voting is necessary, ideas for existing providers will be handled regardless of voting.
- New Providers - if your idea is for content from a provider that does not have any content available in the KBs and CDI, choose this category. The ideas for new providers will be annually prioritized via the CERV process.
- Other - for non provider specific ideas

Add the Spanish language streaming video vendor Bibliotele to the CZ
Bibliotele would like to add their content to the CZ. They do not currently exist there. I created a database in Alma 1 Collection ID 61552552270003856 Collection Name Bibliotele. Collection Type Database. I am attaching the KBART file provided to me by the vendor. I also have the MARC records but was unable to upload that format here. We won’t be able to use the records you provided, as these types of collections are set up through automated processes.
Relying on customer-provided updates for ongoing maintenance would not be sustainable.

There's currently 2 database only collections for Preqin in the CZ (Collection ID: 6113913810000041 and 6113913800000041) but they doesn't contain any granular metadata. Please work with the provider to add granular CDI records for this database's contents.

Technical Report Archive and Image Library (TRAIL)
TRAIL is a national collaborative project, with over 50 members, that has, for the last 20 years engaged in acquiring, cataloging, digitizing, and providing unrestricted access to U.S. government agency technical reports that are not easily discoverable in library collections. Currently, the TRAIL archive, of over 100k titles, is split between HathiTrust and the University of North Texas Digital Library. I propose to add TRAIL as a new content provider and collect all content under one collection which would help tremendously with access and discovery.

Add AIAA Conference Proceedings collections by year. Improve portfolios to include conference year and number
AIAA only provides access to proceedings for the years subscribed. The AIAA Conference Proceedings collection has over 1200 portfolios. Many portfolios do not indicate the year of the conference or the conference number making it impossible to know which of the 1200 portfolios to activate. I asking Clarivate to work with the publisher to improve the portfolios to include the conference year and number. In addition, work with AIAA to provide collections by year so we are able to activate the content we are subscribed to. Right now it is impossible to activate all of the entitled portfolios.

Add Comics Plus from Joyful Reading Company
Joyful Reading Company provides MARC records for their Comics Plus database, but they are quite poor. Ideally, working with Clarivate will improve the records, especially when it comes to subjects, names, and other standardized cataloging practices. The comics and graphic novels themselves are quite diverse, if that makes a difference. Thanks for considering.
