Create new Brill database, Qurʾānic Studies Online
Brill now has a collection called Qurʾānic Studies Online (URL http://referenceworks.brillonline.com/cluster/Qur%CA%BE%C4%81nic%20Studies%20Online?s.num=0) which contains 3 resources:
- Dictionary of Qurʾanic Usage, http://referenceworks.brillonline.com/browse/dictionary-of-quranic-usage
- Encyclopaedia of the Qurʾān, http://referenceworks.brillonline.com/browse/encyclopaedia-of-the-quran
- Qurʾān Concordance, http://referenceworks.brillonline.com/browse/quran-concordance
Right now, the Brill Online Reference Works database (JQX), which only has 19% coverage in Summon, includes these this way:
- Dictionary of Qurʾanic Usage (9789047423775 Book)
- Encyclopaedia of the Qur’ān Online (1875-3922 Journal)
- Encyclopaedia of the Qur’ān. Supplement I - Early Western Qur’āns (Book)
- Encyclopaedia of the Qur’ān. Supplement II - Qur’ān Concordance (Book)
There's also a separate database (FNQ) called Encyclopaedia of the Qur’ān, which contains 52 titles and says it has 100% coverage in Summon.
It's difficult to know what to subscribe to in order to provide the most accurate and complete access via Summon.
