Multiple editions of a title often display in the Summon search results in a seemingly random order. Different editions of the same title should display in a logical order with the most recent edition first. We have reported countless instances of this behaviour over the years and are told that it is unfixable due to the quality of metadata.

Summon should link different editions of a title together so it can display them in a logical order. As Summon will not always be able to do this accurately, give customers a way to edit and improve the data so we can fix edition order display problems when we notice them.
