Add "sent from" box in "email this item."
Currently, if you want to email an item to another person, there is no space to indicate who the sender is.
Completed in the 2023 May release as part of the 2023 Summon Roadmap.

I agree this is a good idea. We tried to get round it by changing the translation to show as "Email this item to yourself" when you hover over the email icon and in the email pop-up, we changed the text to: "Enter your email address. To contact library, use Contact us link in top right-hand corner" and "Message for your own reference" So 3 attempts to highlight to the user that they should only use this function to email items to themselves and this was to stop them sending stuff to the library that we could never reply to.

I agree. Though we would hope that students or other users would know to add their email addresses if they want help with getting an article, there is nothing that requires them to include contact information. We get requests from students through summon and I've had students simply request the article and add their name, not realizing we won't have any additional information come through on how to contact them.
This seems like a simple fix.

We have recently had a rash of these show up in librarians' inboxes with no indication of who they were from. Having a "sent from" box would clue the user into the fact that this is not their personal email and that the receiver won't know who it is from.
