SummonとExribrisの検索結果に複数のCitation metrics(IF, FWCI, h-Index etc)を標準装備する
<現状>
Summonのジャーナル論文検索結果にAlt metricsのドーナツが表示されている。
→<将来>
Alt-metricsとジャーナルIFが同時に表示される。可能であればFWCIまでを標準装備させる。
<理由>
1 vote -

It would be better if we can build the EJP usage report, which can counting the eBook and eJournal accessing through EJP.

Idea for changing the results of the 360 API's calling to sort of order to the most recent first .
As the reaction to the release on 3rd Nov 2021 which has been provided on EJP, I'm suggesting of changing the results of the 360 API's calling to sort of order to the most recent
Because it become more usable if the platform which using this 360 API could display the databases with the most recent coverage first.

fuzzy keyword search in the E-Journal Portal (AZ List)
Our patrons do not always know the exact name or spelling of a journal or how to use an asterisk.
We think the E-Journal Portal search box should support fuzzy keyword searching.

A more user-friendly way to manage Library Specific Holdings for our print serial
We would like to see a more user-friendly way to manage Library Specific Holdings for our print serials. Often, our holdings are not continuous; we have gaps in coverage. The only way to add additional dates of coverage is to "Add title" for each date range. 360 then merges the multiple date ranges into one serial record. Having the ability to manage multiple date ranges within one record would be helpful. This system limitation also affects editing. Right now, if you need to edit date ranges for one of these serials, you are only given the option to edit one…

Allow filtering of UnPaywall and Open Access Button results on Link Resolver
360 Link should allow filtering of the Unpaywall and Open Access button results so that libraries can choose which versions to display. This would allow us to display only peer-reviewed results. Both services return version information in their API. Our library would like to use this open access button feature, but we need to be able to filter the results.

Intota - Internal Resource Notes on titles in LSH databases should be saved
You are able to enter a text in the Internal Resource Note field on a title in a Library-Specific Holdings database.
It looks as if the text is saved but when you search for the title again you can see that it has not been saved.4 votes -
Intota: Coverage Date to “Present” in LSH-databases shouldn't be converted to 01/01/1900
When you enter “Present” as “Coverage Date to”in Intota this is converted to the date 01/01/1900 in eJournal Portal. If you leave the “Coverage Date to” field blank, then eJournal Portal shows the end date of the holding as “to Present”. Our wish is that entering “Present” will show up as “to Present” in EJP as well.

Intota Consortium Sharing: Status should be inherited on title level as it is on database level
When you cancel a subscription to a single journal in a database in the “parent instance” in Intota and wish to be able to see all data entered (payments etc.) after the cancellation you must choose any other Status than “Not Tracked” for the journal in question. On the other hand, you must choose “Not Tracked” to remove the title from the eJournal Portals belonging to any “child instance” that have inherited the journal through Consortium Sharing. Setting Discovery to “Off” doesn’t solve the problem. This is both illogical and annoying.

only show one open access button when both return a match
We turned on both the unpaywall and openaccess buttons in 360. Often there are matches in both, so both buttons display. We would like them to only show one in cases where both return a match. thanks for considering!

Batchediting Option for Administrative and Resource Renewals
We buy JSTOR EBA books, and other ebooks in bulk. Every time we buy new ebooks, we need to add Administrative and Resource Renewals notes mannualy, one by one. These notes are often repetitive, especially for the same batch (like "Payee: JSTOR", "2021 EBA purchase" etc.).
Currently there's only one bach editing option: Cost data.
It would be nice if we could update admin and resource renewal notes by batch editing, so that we don't have to edit them one by one for 100+ times. Thanks!1 vote -

searching az list click on database - no list of your titles
we now use SFX and on the a z-list, our users can click on vendor (= database name) and then see all titles within this selection. pe click on sage and then see all your active sage titles.
We will shortly switch to 360 core client centre (and stop with sfx) We now do not see on the front on the new a-z list ejournals this functionality.

"Automatic holdings management" process for database "eBooks on EBSCOhost" (CZZ)
We buy single title e-books from ebsco regularly and have to activate the titles manually in the Client Center (database "eBooks on EBSCOhost"). It would make things much easier if there is a "automatic holdings management" process for this database.

Filter search results in the Ebook and Journal portal (EJP)
The EJP is a good way to find full text journals by subject area, however, once you have searched or browsed to a subject, there is no way to narrow your search any further except to show only open access titles. It would be helpful to restrict results to recent books or journals with current access, or to peer-reviewed sources, for example.

Let 360 Link make use of the EBSCO API
Have 360 Link make use of the EBSCO API, which would allow 360 Link to do a 'pre-check' for article availability and suppress the full text link if the EBSCO API returns an unavailable status. This EBSCO API option is a feature currently available in Alma but not yet available in 360 Link. It would be great if Summon could take advantage of this API too.
