Stop adding reading lists automatically when looking at them
At the moment, when students look at a reading list in an LMS it's automatically added to their "My Lists" area in Leganto.
According to Ex Libris this is by design but they are open to change this depending on how popular this idea turns out to be.
(see Case 973700)
We don't think that just a short glance at a syllabus justifies a list being added - most likey unbeknownst to the students themselves.
And if they want to add a list, it's only one click on the Add button.
We don't want the feature to be abolished, but to be made optional (e.g. parameter with true/false setting).

Agree with being optional. We do use it a lot (and folks without enrolment data loads might need to as a catch-all) but the flexibility makes sense. Fixes on the stickiness of the My Lists for Library staff based on VLE/CMS/LMS roles have also been improved in last few releases so less chance of the 'My lists of doom' 100+ lists happening for anyone.
I wonder whether any more specific info on the VLE involved and therefore the preview/access likely to be used could be added to refine the options? (will browsing users see anything as a different LTI role?
