Please could the list of phones/devices available for preview be updated in the App Manager.
There have been a significant number of larger screen phones released in the last few years and the app manager currently does not render these devices making it hard to see how campusM looks on a large screen.3 votes
I’ve noticed when updating Positions in the App Manager and these changes are then published the changed position then appears at the bottom of the list in the app. It appears that the positions in the app are ordered in chronological order from least to most recently updated.
it should be possible to order the list alphabetically (perhaps by default) or the order should be definable in a similar way to the way the descriptions can be.3 votes
In Creative Studio the template library should be restricted so that editors can only see and use the branded templates that institutions have created.
The drag and drop elements should be restricted as well to only show our branded components.3 votes
The management of roles and groups is inconsistent and doesn't scale for managing large numbers of them.
When selection roles to change it would be good to have a search filter to help find the right one.
In 'Change an app role' the drop-down for Customer role and the pop-up check list for Alert Groups does scale for when there are many roles/groups to select from. This would benefit greatly from being rethought.3 votes
As an app content manager, I would like to be able to preview the content associated with a given menu option in the app builder, so that I don't have to switch to other screens to check what content is set up
On the app builder: https://appmanager.ombiel.com/app-builder
It would be great if when you click on a menu option, the menu on the right has a button that allows you to preview the pocket guide info or the AEK screen.1 voteJoe Durrant responded

There is currently no way to provide users with specific, limited content access, a way to upload images or other resources to the Asset Manager.
Therefore they are unable to truly manage their own content.2 votes
At the moment the Home recent icon displays as 4 blue squares and this does not match our institutions brand.
Can App Manager be extended to pick up the Home recent icon from App Manager, i.e., allow users to add a recents home icon to the Asset Manager and assign it as the Home Recent in App Builder.
Would like to campusM to show local time instead of UTC.
We'd also like the ability to change this ourselves as we switch between AEST and daylight savings time.2 votes
App Manager will currently log you out of your session if you are idle for something like 5 minutes or 10 minutes. I haven't timed it exactly, but it definitely feels extremely abrupt. It makes it difficult to configure users permissions since there are so many options to consider, by the time I'm finished delegating permissions to a user I get timed out and all my work is lost.2 votes
We would like to be able to set up position actions, for QR codes etc, without them appearing on the position.1 vote
For RSS feeds, on the Add/Removes Fields page, they are listed alphabetically, but on the actual RSS page, they are listed randomly. They should at least be alphabetical by default. We would like option to set their order.1 vote
Here's a quick mock of some elements that would make the app manager - app settings easier to use. And also a mock on how to make 'Person roles' more useful.
Rename and reorder group menu items for better daily use.
Three main groups
A once off that can be collapsed and out of the way once done.
Profile items order in the only way they can be created and edited.
Profile items rename to be self explanatory
Content publishing moved up as it is more highly used
It would be helpful for editors to have search capability within App Settings > Content where pocketguide content is managed.
Right now, we need to comb through every item manually and remember where we added content or hyperlinks when we make a change. We have some redundancy in our content because tiles are based on roles, so it is especially important to catch all instances.1 vote
Allow sorting in the AppManager screens. When these are in different orders on Dev, Test, UAT and Live it makes it more likely an error will occur copying values from one environment to the next. For example if the Profiles are Student and Student SSO in Live and I want the same values in Test but the order is reversed it's more likely I'll copy the wrong value. The more items displayed the more likely this will happen, whereas if the items could be sorted (alphabetically or by sort order) comparing across screens would be easier.1 vote
As an App Manager I want to be able to choose display order of categories in the "Report a problem" drop-down
As a App Manger, I want to have the ability to sort up the Problem/App page categories using the Up and Down buttons similar to ones offered on the App Settings -> App profiles screen.
This will help to fix the sorting issue, which is: on iOS and desktop, the added Problem App Category items are displayed in different sorting order. Neither they've been sorted up alphabetically as generally expected. (Please see the screenshot for more details.)1 vote
We're adding a lot of PG pages to AEK. Showing the id would make this a lot easier than getting from the database (which only ExL can do) and getting from the HTML source (which is no fun to explain to a client).1 vote
Merge and automate the delivery of a feedback/problem/idea submission CSV to a single email address on a schedule, e.g., weekly or monthly.1 vote
We currently add banners into profiles through App Settings > Home Page Banners, as this gives us the ability to link banners in with roles, to give more targeted messages.
We now want to use the "Overrides" function (that I can see in the app builder) to target banners again.
How do we target a banner based on role (through app settings) and device (overrides in app manager)?1 vote
