Add PMID search funcitionality
We're switching from Summon to Primo. There was PMID search functionality integrated with the Summon search (i.e. you did not have to default to a Citation Linker search to conduct a PMID article lookup). It would be extremely useful at our institution to include PMID lookup from the default Primo search scope rather than to try to educate our users to use Citation Linker when doing a searching using PMIDs. As mentioned, our users have already become accustomed to searching PMIDs in Summon, so it was a bit of a surprise that this functionality wasn't included in the default Primo search scope. In Summon the PMID search functionality was an important promotional opportunity to share with our users who are used to searching in PubMed.
PMIDs are already indexed and searchable in Primo Central. Please clarifiy what functionality exactly you are missing.

ExLibris should provide users of Primo with this key functionality they previously had in Summon. It seems like an obvious enhancement. Hospitals and university science libraries would benefit from this scope being included as a default. This is very important function for our users.
