There are a few letters (like the "Interested In Letter"), for which not the addressFrom in the letter configuration is used, but the library address instead.
We would like all letters to be sent from the "addressFrom" in the letter configuration.

Please fix these concerning mistranslations
Dear support
While creating the non-english versions of the powerpoint presentations for SLSP training, I ran into some concerning mistranslations. It almost looks like you used Google Translations to translate the English Terms in Alma to other languages.
For example, the English homonym "pass" was erroneously translated to "succeed" instead of "go by". This happened while translating to Italian and German (see attachement). I can only imagine how annoying that will be for librarians all over Switzerland when we go live with Alma this coming December.
I can imagine it's a known issue to the libraries you have been using…

Option to customise Alma labels from US to UK (or AU) English
We are new to Alma and have identified that we would like to be able to customise language in Alma to be AU English, instead of US English, the way we can with Summon (and Primo).
Our current ILMS which we are migrating from allows us to change the display wording for options, and it is a very 1990s sort of ILMS. I would like to see this functionality added to Alma too.

Avoid patrons from visiting the Alma top page
We found that there is a timing when internal users would access the Alma top page.
In the following case:If an internal user attempts to log in to Primo VE after his ID has expired, he will not be authorized.
If he attempts to reset his password, it will be failed too, but it will take him to the Alma login page.On the “The user is not authorized in Alma”screen, we suggest that each institution can choose whether to make the text (“Return to login page”) clickable or not.

Change "Orders" link to improve user accessibility
The "Orders" link that appears in the title information after a repository search needs to be improved to address accessibility concerns. Currently, the only "clickable" part of the link is the small number beside the shopping cart and 'Orders' icon. Please consider making this link bigger or the entire shopping cart - orders - and number be "clickable". This would make it accessible for people who have fine motor challenges, as it is difficult to get the mouse to a very small piece of clickable text.

Ability to collect and analyze data on number of and frequency of letters sent from Alma
It would be awesome if there were an option in Analytics to collect and analyze data on the number of and frequency of emails sent from Alma. This will be especially helpful for those institutions that are editing letters and would like to start with the most frequent, patron-facing letters first.

Offer ISO1806 as a Date Format Option
When I am in Alma and looking at a lot of dates, I find YYYY-MM-DD faster to read and process, specifically the use of en-dash instead of forward slash. This format is also the ISO standard (https://www.iso.org/standard/40874.html). Thank you.

add additional reporting in payment confirmation job report
In the payment confirmation jobs report, add the ability to see which items had their status changed to paid and closed.
For comparison, if you look at the report we get when we send invoices for payment, there are three events that list everything in the file:
Failed while generating invoice XML
Failed to move invoice on workflow
Invoice processed successfullyIf you click on "invoice processed successfully", it lists the invoice number and the price. We would like to see something similar with the payment confirmation job.

It would be a nice improvement, if you only had to click once to refine your search in Alma instead of now, where you have to dobbeltclick.

Institutions should be able to update their contact info (e.g. specifically email address) globally and have it apply to all letters and notices.

Display number of results within a set on the Manage Sets page
It would be very helpful to be able to see the number of members or results within a given set on the Manage Sets page, rather than having to open each set to find out how many members or results it contains. This would make deleting old, empty sets, much faster and easier.

Improve Navigation to Allow Switching Between Tasks
There should be a way to quickly move between tasks in Alma without having to start from scratch. If I'm in a user record and go search for an item barcode, I should be able to get back to the user record in a single click, without having to search again. WMS provides this functionality and it's really helpful. Essentially breadcrumbs that track ones work in the system so you can quickly pull up something you were working on even hours before.

Thumbnail images
We have discovered that when we add a digital representations to existing permanent library records (e.g. with electronic or physical inventory), the thumbnail display from the digital representation becomes the thumbnail display in Primo VE instead of the book cover. This is obviously not the way we want this to behave.
Can we please have the 'Book'/Journal cover to display instead of the digital representation/file image?

Allow for the updating of license terms using scripts or spreadsheets.
Currently all updating in licenses is a manual process. To add or reorder terms has to be done manually and to add a new term to existing license has to be done manually. Wouldn't it be nice for either type of updating to be achieved via a script or spreadsheet? For managing terms, it would be great to export the existing terms to a spreadsheet, make changes and then upload the new terms order and organization. Make all tables in Alma sortable by all their column headings
There are lots of tables in the Alma UI that come up which can be sorted by a couple of the column heads but not others. For example in Letters Configuration, you can sort by "Letter" or "Description," but not by "Enabled," "Channel," or "Retention Period." Being able to sort by column headings is a basic function of a table.
In the example above, it would be helpful to be able to see only those letters that are enabled, or to sort so that all the email letters are grouped together and all the SMS letters are separate from them.

While the idea to change lists across the entire system is clear the lists in Alma differ from one to another based on entities they manage and area of operation and functionality which often require specific handling of sorting related options for displayed columns. Due to various technical reasons related to list size, database indexing, languages and more, we typically need to improve each area separately and are unable to address this idea across the system for all lists in one software change.

Add multiple Central catalog integration profile with the enable/disable button
The background:
To add the backup CALIS path (or host) to the integration profile. When the primary CALIS host failed, the library admin can switch the profile quickly instead of modifying the configuration directly to avoid any misconfig.
Request:
It will pop up an error when adding another or multiple Central catalog integration profile to Alma. So we would suggest to add multiple Central catalog integration profile with the enable/disable button, so we could choose and enable the backup host quickly when the primaiy host failed.

Calendar management reminders
Would be good to get a reminder when standard opening hours "valid to" date is about to end.
We had a hard time understanding why interlibrary books borrowed at one of our libraries got very short due dates.
It is impossible to remember to update the standard opening hours every 3 year. Also a valid time of 3 years is very short for standard opening hours, it should be longer or not have a limit at all.6 votesHello All,

Homepage notifications in Alma
It should be possible to choose specific times for publication of homepage notifications and also which roles see them in Alma.
Now all staff see all notifications and the notifications can't be prepared in advance.
