    Hi Moshe,

We would like to clean up po lines that their paid items have already been withdrawn. By the State regulations, we have to keep the order records and the bib records for 6/7 years for auditing. After the specified period, if we have already withdrawn the items, we are no longer required to keep the order records and the bib/item records.

So if we run the job "Change PO Lines Status" job, all the po lines actually do NOT meet any of the criteria to be successfully deleted:
__ They all linked to an invoice lines (Yes. They were paid, and then some years later withdrawn)
-- They were attached to a PO and sent to a vendor (Yes. That was how we got the items)
-- They were main po lines, and their items were received or activated. (Yes. But then years later, they were withdrawn and deleted from Alma.)

In this case, how can we batch delete these po lines? We would like to clean up the database.

    Thanks!
    Pauline

I have just finished a project which I have to search for our ezproxy prepended to the urls and deleted them. The portfolio search ability only search old urls, and not the current static corrected urls, so I got hundreds of portfolios seemingly that I have to fix. It turned out that the current static urls do not have ezproxy prepend to them, only the old urls have, and you can't edit the old urls. The search index only search the first old urls, but not the current urls. This is a defect in the search capability. Who wants to find old urls when there are current urls. Change this behavior.

I agree. Give us a drop down menu of existed collections in the run a job area in addition to the sets, so we can choose the collection(s) the job to run on.

    Brilliant idea. Voted.

Or add the Vendors column in the Missing Data page, so the different publishers' data can be differentiated.

    I was just informed by Ex Libris that the Network number in the analytic reports actually searches 019 a,z, 035 a,z, 774 w, 773 w, 775 w, 777 w, 786 w, 800 w, 810 w, 811 w, 830 w.

Now my question is: How do we identify the OCLC number of the resource in an analytic report?

I think when an existing collection changes platform, it should not be treated a new collection. It should be treated as updating an existing collection. The data service team should work faster to update the collection. The current situation is, we have to delete the CZ old collection, and add a local collection to use the new links, and then wait for the collection to be voted in Idea exchange, and perhaps a year later, we can find an appropriate CZ collection to link the portfolios to. If I work this slowly, I would have been fired already.
