searching tags
A team uses a shared RefWorks folder for storing references.
They have discovered that they can all add tags to citations, but if one person searches in the folder, it only returns tags which they have added themselves. Results are not returned for tags which have been added to citations by other members of the team. Can you include tags added by the rest of the team into results?

That's a really frustrating issue! It sounds like RefWorks is prioritizing user-specific tag visibility, which defeats the purpose of shared tagging in the first place. I haven't used RefWorks in a while, but maybe there's a setting related to "shared tag visibility" or "group indexing"? It's like playing the Dinosaur Game – you need to find the hidden trick to get past the obstacle. Isn't collaborative tagging in RefWorks supposed to, well, collaborate? From my experience, you need to ensure the folder sharing permissions are set to "Read & Write" for all users, otherwise, only your tags are visible in your search results. Remember those pacman 30th anniversary Google doodles? Good times! https://pacman30thanniversary.io
