Restore the ability to search note fields with Basic Search
We request that the ability to search note fields using basic search be restored as before.
The note fields contain many important keywords to help users encounter the materials they need.

The ability to search notes fields in the basic search was added to the June 5, 2024 release.

This has DEI implications: in our collection, information about underrepresented groups, individuals and topics in the resource in question is often found in the notes fields.
