Leganto Link Marked As Broken Letter - include reporting user metadata
It would be helpful if the user who reported a broken citation link was included in the Leganto Link Marked As Broken Letter XML. That way, we could include it in the email staff receive. It would save time and effort, compared to looking this information up in the Alma alert.
We have analyzed this request. Leganto only sends the letter when the first user marks the link as broken, therefore the library would need to check Alma to determine if additional users had marked the link as broken. We are closing this idea because we don't want to add potentially misleading information to the letter.

Jessie, that's not my experience. We receive the letter upon each successive report of a broken link on the same citation. I just tested this by reporting a broken link on the same citation on the same list but with two different dummy user accounts. I received a notice for each report. See attached to see the emails I received. Why can't the reporting user be identified in these?

This would have to be included as an optional field, otherwise it'd be an issue for countries with GDPR - if personal data is included in an e-mail it can't be (automatically) purged anymore.

It would also be handy if the reporter name could be seen on the Marked as broken task or if there was a link to their user record.

This would be a good addition to the letter as this can now be sent direct to individuals or help desk services that may not have direct access to Alma so being able to see the Reporter would be useful as we had already added the reason/comment.
