Display Public Access Model message in Leganto
At UNSW, we use portfolio’s Public Access Model to indicate if an eBook has unlimited or restricted access. The same message also shows in Primo so users are aware of the conditions before accessing eBooks.
We believe the information will also benefit our Leganto users, but unfortunately, the message doesn’t display in Leganto, so we would like to propose the idea of displaying the Public Access Model message in Leganto.
We raised a case with Ex Libris, but they said it is not part of their current development work plan.
This will be done as part of the 2024 NERS request

Yes, please implement this so that users can identify the number of concurrent access rights of the ebooks. This is especially important when the ebook or etextbook are being used for course teaching and Prof requires the students to read a certain chapter in a particular week. When there's limited access, students start reporting broken links or errors when they are unable to access due to concurrent limited access on these ebooks.

Please implement it so our users can identify the concurrent access rights of our ebooks. Otherwise, they will submit a broken report instead.

We have used this functionality to help academics know if the eBook they choose has restricted access - they only way we can do this is a complicated work around. Would be easier if the information in Alma also displays in Leganto

Yes please!
We opened a case for exactly this 2 years ago but where told (after 1,5 years) that '(...) Product Management team following discussion on its merits, have unfortunately not been able to accept this into our future roadmap, and as such have had to decline this idea.'
It's pretty sad that the developments for one ExL product rarely takes their other products into account.
