Leganto: Have a Reference displayed for the resource in the style required eg APA7th
There was a comment from an academic saying when their readings were in the Learning Management System they had the correct APA referencing style demonstrated, with the link to the reading – so students could see the correct format. And the academic was disappointed that the Leganto list didn’t demonstrate the referencing in the correct style. So we would propose that under the title of the resource in the Leganto list, the reference for the resource would be listed in APA6 (or probably APA7 now) format. Ideally it would be like Endnote – where we input the data in the fields and it correctly formats the data from these fields to construct the reference. But otherwise if we could just write the correct reference in that would be ok . We are suggesting to abandon Leganto Brief citation (it's difficult to construct the correct style via the formatting in the Alma configuration settings) and replace it with a more traditional referencing area. We are asking to have a control at some level (either list-level, list creator-level, or something else?) to be able to choose a popular citation style for lists to display in, "eg APA 7th" It would be great to be able to set/define 'correct' referencing style at the list level, as some of our subjects are using AGLC4, and occasionally MLA or Chicago.
