Update analytics to show how many users are engaged / non-engaged
Currently the analytics that we can see are quite top level and don't allow us to really evaluate how many active users we have. There is a figure for this, however I think ExLibris have stated that this figure is not accurate / really working.
It would be really helpful if we had access to a simple graph that showed us the number and proportion of:
- Very active users (e.g. users who are on average accessing the app multiple times a day / multiple sessions a day)
- Active users (e.g. users who are on average accessing the app roughly once a day / one session a day)
- Moderate users (e.g. users who are on average access the app between once a day and once a week)
- Non-active users (e.g. users who are on average accessing the app less than once a week)
These averages could be calculated across a month - where users would be slotted into these categories based on the number of sessions that had in that last month. E.g. if a student had 40 sessions in October, they would be a very active user for that time period and contribute to the total number of students in that category.
On our end all we would need to see is the number and proportion of students that have fallen into those categories each month.
Is this something that is being looked at within the new beta analytics package at all? If not, could we discuss how / when it would be possible to introduce?

This is what we'd like also, with the ability to identify how many users we have in each profile. Same as the comment on 21 Feb 2018!! Do these things ever get done?

I'd like to see this information across each profile - ie the engagement metric according to student or staff profile.
