Configure Alma New UI to Work on Smartphones (Devices Smaller than Tablet)
Due to the browser requirements, Alma New UI will not work on a device smaller than a tablet:
"Minimum required resolution is 1024x768 (1280*800 recommended)."
This is a bummer, as I know many of us often need to access Alma from a smartphone. The Current UI is terrible from a phone, but at least it is possible. That is one of the main reasons I was excited about New UI.
Please configure Alma New UI to work on smartphones (devices smaller than tablet).

Alma web application is based on pages displaying a large amount of data which is not suitable for small devices.

Add Fields to Scan In on Alma Mobile
We'd like to use the Alma Mobile application to do some small inventories in the stacks, but we need the call number and description fields in order to do that.

Cell phone renewal app
Develop an app that allows users to renew items using their cell phones by reading bar codes or ISBNs or UPC.

In those rare instances when ALMA (or an IT system in general) goes down, is it possible to have a smartphone app (with cut down features) that would allow the issue and return of books using the camera to read a barcode. The data could be held locally (on the phone) until the system returns and the new issues/returns uploaded to the full system?

Display note/comment field and requestor information in Alma Mobile
It would be very helpful to have the note/comment field from requests display in Alma Mobile, particularly useful if the note/comment directly effects how, why, when, etc. the item is pulled.
It would also be helpful to have the requestor information (ie their name) display in Alma Mobile, especially if multiple patron requests are being fulfilled at one time and/or they are pre-pulled items that just need to be filed on a hold shelf.3 votesHello All,
