Provide Configuration Options for Lost Item Replacement Fee TOU Precedence in Alma
Some items have price information in the record, and some do not. Rather than delete all price info or try to add it to each record, our library would like the option to force the system to defer to the Lost Item Replacement Fee (LIRF) stored in the Fulfillment TOUs over the item price in the record (if one exists). Add an internal note to the list of available Quick Cataloging fields
Circ Desk staff should be able to "leave a note" for Resource Management when adding an item using Quick Cataloging. We would like to use a note for Circ Desk staff to initial the item records they worked on, and also to let RM know of anything unusual they notice or questions they have about the piece.
Right now, the only note field available during Quick Cataloging is the public note, which isn't appropriate for this kind of thing. At least one of the item internal notes should be available for this.

Move the cursor for expired patron pop up
When a patrons account has expired the location of the cursor on the blocked account pop-up window is 'Renew'. The default location of the cursor should be moved to Cancel or OK as it's too easy to hit enter and renew the account accidentally. Renewing an account should be a chosen action, not the default

Is it possible to help cut down on data entry within the calendar? For example, I run a 24/5 schedule (which looks like open 00:00 - 23:59). When I want to have exceptions where I reduce hours for the short time between semesters, I have to set up 2 exceptions for each day of the break which can last one to two weeks. If Monday is regularly what I wrote above, I need Monday exception #1 to be closed from 00:00 - 7:59 and Monday exception #2 to be closed from 23:00 - 23:59. This shows that my open hours…

Add Circulation History Log to Alma as Patron History in Patron Records
Staff would benefit from having a circulation history log, as in Aleph, to track transactions much easier. That would greatly assist us in billing, since we do it manually. It is also useful for resolving patron issues with fines and fees issues, as well as overdue fines. It could be included as patron history on patron records. We used the log for handling a number of issues.

Register Multiple In House Uses for a single item with one scan
Often our librarians bring a book into a class so that students can use it to work on an assignment. Afterwards, we want to record that it has been used in house multiple times. Can you add a functionality to the Scan In Items screen so that you can scan an item once, but have it register multiple in house uses?

'recently viewed patron accounts' option
Have option for 'recently viewed patron accounts'. Our previous LMS remembered the last five (if I remember correctly) patron accounts recently viewed. This will avoid the frustration of accounts timing out whilst still dealing with the patrons query, for example.

Provide controls to prevent expired users from being sent Alma generated emails
Currently, when it comes to sending emails, Alma does not distinguish between current and expired users. For the weekly statement, this can result in a huge numbers of non-delivery reports (bounce emails) where the expired users' email account has been removed. Because Alma is generating so many failing messages within a short period of time, this can result in further non-delivery reports failing to be delivered.
Alma should provide controls, preferably fine-grained as well as global, to prevent expired users from being sent emails.

Include renewal override prompt when using "Renew selected" or "Renew all".
Include prompt for override when using "Renew selected" or"Renew all" button in Patron services if the item's renewal is not allowed by TOU.

Template for "Create Items"
In the Manage Patron Services, it would be very helpful to be able to configure templates that are used when an operator selects "Create item". Then we can only display the fields that are necessary and leave out fields that are unnecessary for that moment.c

Cancellations - Need to specify more than "System"
When a fulfillment request is cancelled, it should specify who cancelled it e.g. patron via Primo (incl. name), librarian, other and not just "System".

Requests Tab - Tasks
The Task Column displays the text "Not Started" if an item is On Loan. For Resource Sharing requests it displays the text "Not Started" for all statuses e.g. Created Borrowing Request, Request Sent to Partner, Digitally Received by Library, Waiting for Cancel Response etc... Is it possible to change this to a more meaningful text such as "In Process"?

Auto-renew - Maximum renew date in Borrowing Activity Letter
We have been running auto renew for several months and it is very popular. We do not notify customers that an item has been successfully renewed but do send weekly updates and would lie to include the Maximum Renewal date on these. Although it displays in Primo we have not been able to find a way to include it in Letters and would like to request this functionality is added please

The process for blocking the loan status notice (FullItemChangeDueDateLetter) should be more flexible. Currently, it's sent whenever a request is submitted for any item checked out by a particular user group, whether that item is recallable or not. Create the ability to delete or disable individual demerit points from the Demerit tab on the User Details page.
Currently it’s only possible to disable or delete a demerit block once the demerit threshold has been reached. There are problems with this as when a patron disputes a demerit point the library is unable to disable or delete the point and are instead having to monitor the patron’s demerits and disable or delete the complete block once or if it’s applied. Having the ability to disable or delete individual demerit points would rectify this problem.

Immediate availablity of new TOU from Fulfillment Units Rule Screen
When creating a new Fulfillment Unit Rule, we have the opportunity to create a new TOU in that screen. However, when we hit save the TOU is not immediately made available for use in the drop down menu.
It would be very beneficial if the newly created TOU was immediately available in the drop down after we hit save. Currently, we have to cancel the Fulfillment Unit Rule we are working on and restart it in order to have the new TOU available as a choice.

Reduce 24 - 48 hour window between the time a Course and Reading list are created in Alma and the moment it appears in Primo
It is very difficulty to judge whether or not processing course reserve material are successfully completed until a full day and sometimes longer have lapsed if/when publishing in Primo is a concern. This happens - failure to publish in Primo - inspite of Course Reserve becoming available as loan-able in Alma.

Remove option to 'Renew' offered in a "Due Loans Letter" generated by a patron request.
Option to Renew is confusing to patrons who are denied when they try to renew a recalled item. Better not to offer, or appear to offer, it in a recall generated by a patron request.

Request to drop to next item when previous is made Missing
If an item is requested but can't be found and therefore toggled to Missing, the physical item request remains unfulfilled and cannot be fulfilled by another copy of that title. Either staff get an option to drop the request to the next available/eligible item, or that is done automatically, or both those options.

Add additonal payment information options to circulation desk configuration, ed: Student ID
Some institutions allow users to pay fees with funds loaded onto their student ID. This should be an available option when configuring payment options.
