An error occurred while saving the comment Wendy Crist commentedAccording to the MARC21 Format for Bibliographic Data (Music), “008(26)=i” is used to describe an item that includes historical information, and other values for 008(26) describe other accompanying matter. This is VASTLY different from the MARC21 Format for Bibliographic Data (Computer Files)
This default mapping therefore affects scores and sound recordings that include any sort of descriptive material about the music, including critical editions and CDs issued with liner notes. Since the accompanying material here starts with byte 24 and is listed in alphabetical code order, byte 26 commonly has "c", "d", "e", "f", "g", "i", or "z" as the 3rd accompanying matter code, which is how this problem arises. In our catalog, thousands of our print music resources and CDs were being displayed as "web resources" and hundreds as "computer files" before the Summon team implemented our custom mapping (which, I might add, took over a month to implement).

An error occurred while saving the comment Wendy Crist commentedWe need this! I'm trying to edit the Data on Demand report into something resembling KBART so that it can be used to populate our ILL system and it's tedious and will never fully map to the other system due to formatting problems.

An error occurred while saving the comment Wendy Crist commentedExample: collection " Freely Accessible Business Journals" if we leave it so that we subscribe to all titles in that database and titles are maintained automatically then we cannot choose to hide an individual title. Those options are grayed out in the Client Center unless you manually maintain the titles in the database. See screenshot attached.

Moving this back to no status and adding a note to clarify. For Summon over Alma customers, we can schedule delivery of reports via email. But currently OBI statistics from the Summon UI are not covered under these reports.
This idea covers reports and usage outside of Alma.
