    @Moshe Shechter, Yes it would be different from a renew ("Verlängerung") as we wish to reset the loan itself and set it back to its original status so the user has the book "newly" borrowed with 5 possible extensions/renewals (and the loan date would also be updated to the day this re-loan happened).
