Cappelen Damm Open Access ebooks
We request the creation of a separate e-collection in Alma CZ for open access ebooks from Cappelen Damm Forskning. This is the research publishing division of Cappelen Damm Akademisk.

Via the link above, you can find their academic open access book releases. Many of these books are published in Norwegian, a language we naturally want to promote for our students and researchers.
Please note that Cappelen Damm Forskning is already a content provider in Alma CZ. The records for their OA ebooks are available through the OAPEN (613450000000000043) and DOAB (613680000000000027) e-collections. Since these records already exist in CZ with ISBN’s, it should make the process of creating a dedicated e-collection easier.
Even though the records are available in CDI through other collections, the need for a standalone e-collection still exists. This would allow libraries to activate only Cappelen Damm’s OA books more easily. We know that this need exists among libraries in the BIBSYS consortium, and several institutions have confirmed that they would like this option.
