Add Swank Digital Campus streaming video collection and MARC records to Alma Community Zone (Knowledgebase)
Many college & university libraries lease streaming videos from Swank Digital Campus (https://www.swank.com/digital-campus/), which hosts over 30,000 streaming films, including feature films, documentaries, and TV shows. Because there is no Swank Digital Campus collection in the Alma Community Zone, libraries must create local portfolios and import local MARC records from Swank for all their Swank purchases. This is unnecessary duplicative effort across all Ex Libris libraries.
There should be a Swank Digital Campus collection in the Alma Community Zone with portfolios for all Swank Digital Campus films. Because libraries choose selectively which Swank films to lease, this new collection should be a Selective Package where libraries can pick and choose which portfolios to activate. These portfolios should be attached to the full MARC records available from Swank. Ex Libris should load the full MARC records from Swank just like they loaded the full MARC records from another streaming provider, Alexander Street. Just like Ex Libris does for Alexander Street, they should ensure the Swank MARC records don't attempt to match on title alone to CZ MARC records, as that will result in false matches to ebook and journal records.
Hello,
Unfortunately, Swank has limited the metadata they provide to 3 collections only that represent their top 1,500, top 1,000 and top 500 titles.
Also, they are not able to provide MARC records due to contractual constraints.
Kind regards,

we are looking for this as well. Currently there is no way in Alma to track our Swank individual film licenses using the CZ. Please consider adding a large SWANK selective package where we can activate individual videos.
