1. Export to Calendar

The ability for app users to export calendar items to their own calendar in the React app, which was previously available in the Legacy app and is no longer an option. If users could sync their calendar to their own calendar instead of adding each event to the calendar, this would be well received.

  2. Support CDATA sections (as used by SharePoint and Drupal) in Events PI RSS

The RSS for the Events PI often contains HTML characters in the
that have to be escaped somehow to be considered valid XML. The Events PI has a toggle switch to indicate whether it should expect HTML in the description element.

Either individual HTML characters can be replaced with entity references e.g. < replaced by & lt ; and > replaced by & gt ; or alternatively you can enclose the HTML in a CDATA section e.g. Our event! .

Both SharePoint and Drupal use CDATA sections to enclose HTML in the RSS views they generate by default,…

  3. Enable institutions to optionally configure active lists as the count

The Leganto product integration returns a count of all lists. For educators this list would be very high, for students it could also get to 36 or so in their last semester.
In both cases users in the mobile app are more interested in looking at their active lists.

Institutions should be able to configure the integration to choose which count to use, and if the user clicks/touches to view the lists then institutions should be able to configure if a list filtered to active lists only is presented.

This was done by the Leganto team, and was part of the August 2024 Leganto release.

  4. Improved "filter by date" feature for events integration

We would like to request an improvement to the 'filter by date' feature in the Events integration. Right now, you can only filter by specific select dates, which isn't really convenient when one is trying to filer by a range of dates. Furthermore, when the list of events covers a wide range of dates, that stuffed the filter feature with far too many dates and makes it difficult to reach the 'filter by tags' tool on mobile. A better method would be to allow more broad selections (e.g. 'this week', 'this month', etc.), or replace the checklist with start date…

  5. 'Add To Calendar' feature in Events PI

We have received feedback from Library Mobile users that regret they cannot export events to their own calendar. An 'Add To Calendar' option would be useful to users.

  6. Impossible to go back to Primo PI search results

When clicking on View It links in Primo results and getting to aggregator or publisher websites, PDFs or external resources, one cannot go back to the original search results. Using the back button goes back to Primo Search, and never to the search results. As a consequence, app users must systematically re-run their searches or click on the search history. We think that the current behavior of the Primo PI is unsatisfactory in terms of user experience.

  7. Add a self-checkout feature in campusM/Library Mobile

It would be useful to add a self-checkout function to campusM/Library Mobile. Built as a new product integration, notably with Alma, it would allow patrons to check out items on their mobile device (quick and private way for patrons to borrow items from anywhere in the stacks).

Some libraries use parallel apps for self-checking, it is not very convenient to propose different library apps to users. Adding a self-checkout feature in campusM/Library Mobile would consolidate the use of this app among the library patrons.

This feature was release in August 205.

  8. Image Carousel Option For Banners

It would be great to have an image carousel option for the banners. Currently they are on a timer and the engagement from students are very low after the first banner. Most of the time they feel like it's too long to wait or timer is too quick to read and understand the information. Would be good to have an option where the user can swipe/click through the banners at their own pace.

  9. Allow the sendAlert API to set an alert expiry date/time.

Allow the sendAlert API to set an alert expiry date/time so that we can expire an alert after, say seven days or ten days and the user does not have to remove the alert themselves or end up with loads of old alerts .
