App Design Flexibility - Tile Height/Width by %
With smartphones getting larger we'd like to be able to use a percentage to size heights and widths. We are particularly interested in tile heights.
Our design team is currently working on a re-design that has full-width tiles, but with the smallest tile height available there is far too much scrolling to view all options. Attached are some screenshots for reference.

New version download prompt
Detect current version of app and prompt users to download latest version when opening, (either optional or required) to continue using the app - with message to explain why they need to upgrade (potentially editable by institution).
Would be useful when we've had recent updates to key services/tiles that are not being realised by students with manual updates, whilst ensuring consistency of experience for all.
8 voteswe have the ability to set minimum app version that prompts the user to download the latest version if they dont have the minimum.

Location URLs
Being able to include URLs in the "Locations" feature on the app that link out to other webpages that provide more information. E.g We hold locations within the app on Recycling centres but this just gives the address, if we cna include a URL that links to our web here we can also be sharing open times, information re what is classed as recycling, what can be used etc. That way we don't have to replicate all the information in the app as well as the app but still gives people access from one location to key service information
5 votesYou can add position actions to locations that can point to an external web site for further information about a particular location. Please see the following document: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/CampusM/Product_Documentation/050App_Settings_Module/090Maps%2F%2FLocations_Section

Attendance - Update student check-in history with subsequent staff check-in data
Updating the Student Check-in History with any subsequent check-in that has been recorded by the lecturer. Currently student has no visibility that lecturer has checked them in.
i.e. Student checks in and notices that check-in was invalid (or unable to validate) > asks lecturer to check them in > lecturer check’s-in student > student view of check-in history is updated to show ‘Lecturer Check-in”
