Events PI ability to show events by roles
We have a use case where students would like to see events aligned with their roles.
We are aware that we can create a separate Events PI tile that is only visible to the relevant roles, however we require the ability to show events dynamically based on the individuals role.

After further consideration, we have decided to not pursue this feature for 2 main reasons:
(1) After reviewing this with our development team, implementing this would either undermine the current design for campusM events which was optimized to reduce calls on university systems, or would make Events significantly more difficult and time consuming to configured, reducing adoption of the feature. Both implementation directions made the scope of this development much larger than previously thought.
(2) This idea has low community support, with only 3 votes total at time of writing, and no change in that number in the last 3 months.
