New Search link in new Primo UI should unlock & reset sticky facets
Can the new Primo UI be configured so all locked facets are unlocked and reset when the user clicks the “New Search”link on top of the new Primo UI toolbar?
Since the locked facets are programmed to remain active for the session, even after clicking “New Search”, the user may receive unanticipated results, and/or a result set of “No Records Found” if the sticky facets don’t apply to the new search.
For an example: A search on history narrowed to the subject of “History & Archaeology” with facets “Available in the Library” and NOT “Video” does a nice job of…

Display of 541 and 561 fields in holdings records should be determined by value in first indicator of the field
Currently if display of 541 and/or 561 fields in holdings records is enabled in "Holdings Display Customization", 541 and/or 561 fields display in the GetIt section in Primo regardless of the value in the first indicator. If the value in the first indicator is zero then the 541/561 field should not be displayed - this is standard MARC coding (see https://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/hd541.html and https://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/hd561.html ).
Ex Libris proposed a solution to us where when the holdings record is saved the a 541 and/or 561 field with first indicator empty or 1 is copied to a 999 field, and in the Holdings…

Improve navigation behaviour for Contextual Relationships
With the current May 2019 design for related items by contextual relationships, when a user finishes looking at the related items and wants to the return to their search results, they are returned to the very top of the result list.
The only time this doesn’t happen is if they have used the pagination widget to navigate by page selection.
This is an extremely poor experience if the user has spent time working their way through a result list, and may be several pages deep, only to find that they have completely lost their place in the list.
Ex Libris…

Add spinner or indicator for Getit frame to indicate content is loading
The Getit frame in Primo often takes between 10-45 seconds to load. During that time many patrons believe it isn't working so they close the window or leave to go elsewhere.
We would like to have a spinner or some sort of visual indication built into the Getit frame so patrons know that content is being fetched.

Improve FRBR item chosen for brief display so that most recent edition displays
When selecting a FRBRed item to display in the Brief Results, a book with multiple editions should always display the most recent edition by default. I have tried all kinds date boosting in the search engine configurations, and I still can't get this to happen. Example: we have many editions of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, up to the 19th ed., and they are listed in the right order when you click "See all versions". However, the edition that displays in the Brief Display is the 12th edition. I've searched this title in other institutions, and they seem to have…
